Since the Rosario fans and Rosario stadium did not win the Brasil game for Argentina as many people thought, it looks like the next WC qualifier against Peru will be played in River's stadium.

The stadium change was made into an important issue and a point of contention by Maradona but the national team's dreadful performance against Brasil made obvious what an irrelevant issue the stadium change was all along.
