Before the details, a note this is the broadest group I've seen enter the program in my 9 years of watching and covering the program. With players from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Nevada, Coach Brewer appears to have spread his web further than ever. I hope its the final step in getting them to the MVC Championship, and NCAA Tourney, following the teams stumble in the MVC Tourney the past two years.

Congratulations to Lou Opfer (Glendale) for being named the MVP of the recently concluded Club Soccer Championships in Phoenix. State players collected several individual awards Tuesday as the first college women's soccer all-conference teams of the season were announced.

In a match that featured some mind-boggling statistics, the Edgewood College women's soccer team throttled Rockford 21-0 in a Northern Athletics Conference game Saturday at Breese Stevens Field.

The Truman State Index is reporting that the MIAA has changed it's scheduling model for Women's Soccer going into the 2011 Fall season

For women's soccer, the MIAA Conference will transition back to how it was scheduled in 2000 when every team played each other once. This schedule allows for 13 conference matches and five non-conference matches — which likely would be used for regional competition from a different conference.
