The World Wildlife Fund wants Messi to wear a Real Madrid jersey for a day
If I supported Real Madrid, I'd be pumping up my bike tires as I type this. In an effort to
spread awareness for Earth Hour, which is an hour of "uniting people to protect the planet", the
World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has celebrities teaming up with the organization to help spread awareness
of Earth Hour and promote sustainable habits.
Babel on Luis, LFC and Coldplay
In what has become an annual festive event, Ryan Babel spent 90 minutes of his birthday chatting
to LFC fans and reviewing some of the year's most notable music tracks.

Morning. Today's date is 11.11.11. Unless you live in the US in which case it's 11.11.11.
Weirdos, putting the month and day in the wrong order.
And today is also kind of special because if you take the year you were born, add the number of
the day you were born, then add 30, divide by 2, multiply it by your shoe size and then take away
how long it's been since Sp*rs won the league then you get .
We continue our new series on the Free Beer Movement. It's called "Brews and Views" and we pose a
question or topic to various prominent soccer persons and, well, they give us their view on it.
We've got loads of get people that have already responded to our call for essay submissions and
each week we'll feature a unique perspective on the current topic/question at hand.

1) Did someone declare football to be the new rock 'n' roll (again)? It's like working on Smash
Hits round here at the moment.

There was a time, back in the primordial ooze, that Coldplay were an almost passable band, they
were on the brink but after album upon album of mawkish rhyming couplets, tedious radar-ping guitar
motifs and cookie-cutter MOR AOR, well, deary me doesn't 'Parachutes' seem like such a long time
ago now?
And it was all Blue, erm, I mean Yellow. Budding drummer and Chelsea keeper Petr Cech has made his
debut for a new outfit: Czech band Eddie Stoilow. He played live with the band for the first time
last week, at a concert in Prague. Among the set was Coldplay track Yellow, which you can [...]

People? The time for flirting, bickering, stony silences and pouting is now over. No, Ronnie and
Sammi from Jersey Shore haven't broken up (despite our prayers) but Cesc Fabregas and Arsenal FC
have finally negotiated who gets the Coldplay CDs and Krispy Kreme gold card and wished each other
farewell.
I know a hair joke is almost expected from me for a Brek Shea post but I'm going to break from
regular programming this morning to just gush about the guy's art. Seriously, some of dude's stuff
is pretty good and I love him for it. There's some real talent there or at least enough that
Coldplay are biting his style now.
Apparently Viva La Vida wasn't a one-off and it looks like Brian Eno is now 100% down with
producing songs whose potential for fist pump-house remixes is as high as his fee for going into
the studio. I do enjoy upbeat, happy people music but I think Eno's best when he or the artist he's
producing is being all maudlin, moody and mildy experimental.
Typically I display an overall lack of interest in European soccer unless there is one of my people
involved. But this Fernando Torres video is just so over the top I can't leave it alone. Anytime
they wheel out Chris Martin from Coldplay to do his sad bastard routine over close-up, HD slow mo
footage I have to wonder about the mental health of the creator of the clip; judging by the
melodramatic editing on display here I am concerned that he may be cutting himself as I type this.

Jonathan Spector is a player that raises questions most of which revolve around the notion that
he should not be playing in the Premier League.
