Rory Fallon for World Cup history

Soccer Pie 17 November @ 04:42 AM EST

A great jump on a corner and a marvelous header. This is by no means a surprise coming from Plymouth striker Rory Fallon. Newcastle United 3 Peterboro 1

A Newcastle United Blog | Howay the Toon 08 November @ 03:24 PM EST

As voices of discontent gathered at the back of the Milburn stand before the game, they were equally as vociferous in their support for their team once they got inside the ground. The second largest attendance of the day (43,067) certainly made their feelings known.

The Newcastle fans had something to shout about other than the owner as Jonas Gutierrez ran from the halfway, and finished with a shot that went past 'Keeper Joe Lewis.

The Wednesday Wonder: Aruna Dindane

Premiership Talk Blog 04 November @ 08:00 AM EST

Is there hope for Pompey? Maybe if you're an eternal optimist. I just like to think of it as something that Portsmouth fans can reminisce about next season when they are taking the Coca Cola Championship by storm. That is just where the state of Pompey football is at the moment. One 4-0 victory is not going to suddenly turn things around for the better, but for that to happen, Piquionne and Dindane are going to have to put in these types of performances week in and week out.
