Real Sociedad were unable to give the home fans the victory they wanted as they bid farewell to
coach Lillo and the players who were playing in their final tie at Anoeta before they move to
pastures new. It turned out to be a very entertaining game with plenty of chances for both sides

Xabi Prieto admitted to the press yesterday that the club need to win the remaining nine games if
they are to have any chance of promotion and few would argue. Coach Lillo will take a 17 man squad
to play Huesca tomorrow afternoon in a must win game. Boukary Dramé had to withdraw from the squad
due to injury and Carlos Martinez is suspended after picking up 5 yellow cards.

Real Sociedad's hopes of promotion this season all but disappeared yesterday after losing to rivals
Alavés. This is the team of course who defeated Real in the final game of last season at the same
venue to end the promotion dream and they have hit a hammer blow again. Things looked rosy in the
first half as both teams battled hard and looked hungry for the win.

6 month deal with the option of a further year after that. He spoke to the press and stated the
reasons behind signing for 'txuri urdin' and said he was signing for the 8th most important club in
Spain and the opportunity to team up with Coach Lillo was a big factor.

with his representative and will undergo a medical at the club tomorrow morning before being

The first team squad trained this morning in preparation for tommorow's game against Levante and
the only change from last weeks squad is defender Boukary Dramé replacing the suspended
Markel. It was though midfielder Gorka Elustundo might make the squad after being out injured but

in a row after Markel conceded a last minute penalty. Imanol Aggiretxe had given the hosts a first

Coach Lillo gave his weekly press conference this morning and confirmed press reports that he was
interested in signing Uruguayan International striker Sebastián Abreu. "El Loco"
(The mad man) is a prolific goalscorer and is currently playing for River Plate in Argentina and
has played for numerous clubs in his career including an unsuccessful stint at Deprtivo La Coruna.

Coach Lillo held his weekly press conference this morning after the penultimate Zubieta training
session of the week. He admitted the squad was excited about the possibility if adding another
three points against Albacete. Regards the squad for the match he is very happy Carlos Martinez has
recovered from his injury and Xabi Prieto is ready to start from the beginning of the match.
