Hector Rueda Lookalike Wilman Conde is New York Bound - FinallyThe New York Red Bulls, having just wrapped up Tim Ream's long-awaited transfer to Bolton, didn't waste much time in finding his replacement, announcing today the signing of Colombian central defender Wilman Conde. Conde was most recently on the books of Mexican club Atlas, where injuries limited his playing time in 2011 to just 13 games.

The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced Monday the club has traded the MLS right of first refusal on defender Wilman Conde to the New York Red Bulls in exchange for allocation money. If this kind of deal doesn't make sense to you, be sure to give this story a read. More after the break.

New York has agreed to personal terms with the out-of-contract Conde and he will be added to the Red Bull's roster pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate.

Is Conde Worth the Price?Late yesterday evening, Big Apple Soccer's Michael Lewis broke the news that the Red Bulls had purchased the MLS rights of Wilman Conde from Chicago Fire. Lewis' story, citing an anonymous source, indicated that the Red Bulls would be sending a draft pick Chicago's way in return.

While nothing continues to go on in MLS per se, there remains a bit of an offseason shuffle for loans and trades. There's been talk of some pretty huge names going across the pond, be it for a trade or a loan, and regardless of whether the rumors have any actual merit. That said, we could see some big moves in the near future.

After a long search, the Houston Dynamo have added a forward that they hope can bring stability and consistent goalscoring to their front line.

Honduran striker Carlos Costly has officially joined the Dynamo on loan from Mexican club Atlas through the end of the season.

The Houston Dynamo have long been in the market to add a scoring punch, and after an unsuccessful stint with Spanish striker Koke, the team appears to have turned its attention to Honduran international Carlo Costly.

The Houston Chronicle reports that the club is in negotiations with Costly, who is out of contract after being released by Mexican club Atlas.

Toronto FC has pulled the strings on yet another trade.

The Reds maintained their wheeling-and-dealing ways by trading forward Maicon Santos to FC Dallas for midfielder Eric Avila on Tuesday, adding a potential sparkplug in the midfield while dealing away a captain for the second time this season.

It's been over two months since we took a look at the roster construction of the Chicago Fire and since then the team has made a couple of moves and HTIOT has acquired some detailed information on the senior roster vs. the supplemental roster. How will Pavel Pardo fit into things? Where does Sebastian Grazzini fall?

The Sounders are traveling north of the border this weekend to take on Toronto FC. I'm not going to lie. I expect a big win on Saturday. Toronto, even at home, is one of the easiest match-ups in the league and an opportunity to claw back some points the Sounders left on the table last weekend when the Vancouver Whitecaps came to town.

Today, Kansas City's former sister club Atlas announced that they'd made a deal with the Chicago Fire to bring in Gaston Puerari. But in the same article about that move, there's talk about Atlas trying to bring in Sporting Kansas City midfielder, Ryan Smith, at least on trial. Smith who missed the first few games of the season, and the last two as well, due to injury has been limited to only 6 appearances this season.

With all of the Chicago Fire's recent forward acquisitions, there couldn't be room for everybody in Frank Klopas' stable of strikers, and Gaston Puerari is the odd man out.

The Fire sold Puerari, a Uruguayan forward acquired in the offseason, to Mexican club Atlas on Wednesday for an undisclosed transfer fee.

El club Atlas del futbol mexicano finalizó su vínculo con el director técnico Benjamín Galindo, quien no pudo llevar a los Rojinegros a la postemporada para buscar el título del torneo Clausura, que conquistó el domingo Pumas de la UNAM.

Galindo, de 50 años, dirigió al Atlas desde la decimotercera jornada del torneo Apertura local en octubre del 2010, y en el Clausura, el equipo terminó en el décimo lugar general.
