Saturday night at the San Siro this weekend we will see Inter Milan take on Udinese hoping for
their third successive win. Under Claudio Ranieri Inter form has been inconsistent at best; in the
league they have stuttered and are sitting 15th. But in the Champions League Inter Milan have
qualified for the latter stages of the competition.
It will be hard to see Inter Milan pick themselves up from there latest setback after going down
1-0 to Udinese yesterday in a result that leaves them in 15th place on the Serie A table with 2/3
of the season left to play.
Currently 13 points off the pace set by leaders and city rivals Milan, Inter need to start
wining if they are too force their way into the top half of the table.
Inter Milan slumped to another home defeat this time to Udinese who shot themselves to the top of
Serie A level on points with AC Milan. In a match which saw two penalties and also two red cards,
it was Mauricio Isla's 73rd minute penalty which settled a bad-tempered affair. Javier Zanetti was

The Twittersphere was alive last night with the scoreline London 2-0 Manchester, as both City
and, more spectacularly, United failed to join Arsenal and Chelsea for the knockout stages of this
season's Champions League.
The response from dejected mancs has been that this scoreline is of little relevance; the red
and blue halves of Manchester still make up the top two in the Premier League, and the Londoners
don't really have a chance of conquering Europe anyway.

severe flooding in the region and the tragic loss of several lives. Ranieri wanted to pay his
respects to those who lost their lives; he said: "I think a very important thing, more so than the
game, is that.
TweetInter Milan grabbed a well-deserved 1-0 win over Genoa thanks to Yuto Nagatomo's second half
header. Yuto Nagatomo's second half header was enough to claim all three points for Claudio
Ranieri's rejuvenated Inter side. But for the heroics of Sebastian Frey in the Genoa goal the win
could have been more comfortable, however, 1-0 did [.
Inter Milan took a toothless Fiorentina side apart on Saturday night to claim three valuable points
that see them move up to 11th in Serie A. Missing the likes of Javier Zanetti, Dejan Stankovic,
Diego Forlan and Wesley Sneijder through injury and suspension, Claudio Ranieri had to shuffle his
pack. Maicon, Yuto Nagatomo and Lucio came into the backline while Philippe Coutinho replaced
Ricky.

There is no denying that the Nerazzurri season thus far has been full of trials and tribulations,
with the critics out in full force tearing into the former European and reigning World Champions at
any given opportunity. Just last week, Inter were barely above the relegation zone, languishing
near the bottom of the table after a defeat at home to second place Udinese.
Serie A leaders Juventus lost their hold on top of the table after settling for a barren draw
with Udinese at the Stadio Friuli last night. The draws sees Milan pip Juve to top spot although
both clubs remain level on 34 points.
