AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf is anxiously awaiting the arrival of Los Angeles Galaxy's David Beckham, stating that the Englishman's arrival will be a welcome boost for the Rossoneri.

Beckham is set to enjoy his second loan spell at the Italian club following a successful spell there last season, and the temporary move means that  Beckham will have a chance to impress Fabio Capello even more ahead of the 2010 World Cup.

Clarence Seedorf showed an exquisite touch chipping the ball to Alexandre Pato who volleyed home the match winner past Iker Casillas. Seedorf was peripatetic, playing with a vigour that put some of the younger players to shame.

Kaka admires Seedorf’s junk

Dirty Tackle 21 October @ 02:11 PM EST

In the lead-up to today's Champions League match between Real Madrid and AC Milan, an Italian show called Le Iene aired a never before seen interview with Kaka from his time with the Rossoneri. Perhaps the rapid-fire format put him in the mood to not hold back, but on one question in particular it would seem that he revealed a bit more than he may have wanted:

Question: "Which Milan player is exceptionally gifted down under?

Matchday 1 – Marseille/Milan

Serie A Talk 16 September @ 09:49 PM EST

Fox Soccer's coverage of the Champions League games is something to behold. No longer are we tied to ESPN's choice of which game we are allowed to watch. 10 of this week's 16 matches are available either live or on a delay. That is unbelievable, and a massive step forward.

It poured rain throughout the game in Marseille on Tuesday, and Milan's white Champions League kits do not have a sponsor.

Where I would be at the front of the line when it comes to being critical of Landon Donovan, I have to give him his props for his performance in South Africa as well as in MLS this summer.
Apparently, his play in South Africa made him some new fans who appreciate his game - While AC Milan's Clarence Seedorf couldn't name one Galaxy player other than David Beckham before the friendly the Italian club played against the squad, all three FC Barcelona members at the press conference in Beverly Hills not only knew Landon Donovan's name, but aspects of his play that could be a threat.
