If the U.S. national team's recent friendly vs. Honduras was supposed to help put the U.S. World Cup roster into some better focus, then Bob Bradley is probably glad he has almost four months before he has to settle on his final 23-man roster.

Not Falling Into The Deep End

Not much to celebrate on Saturday for Clarence Goodson and Brad Davis. (Getty Images)

I spent the weekend away from the computer for a reason. I wanted to basically have some free time to do things non-soccer related for a change but I did make some time for the USMNT's match against Honduras.

US Soccer Needs to Put the HDC In Mothballs

Ginge Talks The Footy 25 January @ 02:19 PM EST
It's time for US Soccer to turn it's back on the Home Depot Center. It's time to stop this nonsense and start playing matches in cities that actually give a damn about American soccer. Alright I admit this isn't going to happen but that won't stop me from making the argument.
Let's begin with the most important black mark on the credibility of the Home Depot Center. Click to continue reading...

Playing its first match of the new year, the U.S. men's national team fell to Honduras 3-1 before a heavily Honduran crowd at the Home Depot Center. How to sum this one up Saturday in Carson?

Here's one way.

Highs and Lows For Wizards in US-Honduras Game

Down the Byline 23 January @ 11:34 PM EST
Depending on how you want to look at tonight's USA-Honduras friendly out in LA, you could see it as a very bad night or a good night. From the aspect of a Wizards fan, it was a mixed bag. First on the bad side, Wizards goalkeeper, Kevin Hartman did not even make the bench as Troy Perkins started and Nick Rimando was on the bench. Click to continue reading...

Fresh blood for U.S. with January call ups

For the U.S. Men's Team, the January camp is a tradition synanoumous with Major League Soccer. It's the once-a-year opportunity for those players either on the rise in MLS or in lesser-trodden leagues like Scandanavia, to ply their trade in front of Bob Bradley and the USMNT coaching staff.

Announced today, the selection of players available for January, a stretch that includes a January 23 friendly against Honduras, will be a litmus test for players claiming to have aspirations of respresenting the U.
