And there it is. Jurgen Klinsmann going wide and expansive with his camp roster next week. The roster dominated by the return of golden boy Stu Holden and no place for Steve Cherundolo (or Carlos Bocanegra).
GOALKEEPERS (6) : Brad Guzan (Aston Villa), Tally Hall (Houston Dynamo), Bill Hamid (D.
The U.S. Men's National Team, fresh off its Group A victory in the Semifinal Round of 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifying, will travel to Russia for an international friendly on Wednesday, Nov. 14, in Krasnodar for the final match of the 2012 campaign.
It nice to see that Sean still seems to be the preferred young goalkeeper at this point in Jurgen's mind. While he likely won't get any playing time, every international cap he can get is valuable experience. Getting to work with Tim Howard can only be a positive learning experience in my mind. Check out the full story if you want here.
I'm smelling the same overtly bad formation, and the same line-up except with Michael Parkhurst at left back and Carlos Bocanegra replacing Clarence Goodson in central defense. The latter is fine (it's what I wanted the last game), but the former is making me nervous. If this fear bears out when the game starts and we are actually rockin' that configuration at home, I will officially start

After worrying Yank's supporters with a poor showing and a loss in Kingston, the squad rebounded in Columbus, playing a fluid passing style in their Tuesday night victory. Each section of the article will focus on a tactical point and compare how the teams played in the two matches. The Lineups On Friday, the US played a 4-3-1-2, which resulted in a very narrow approach.
COLUMBUS, Ohio- Just four days after Jamaica's historic 2-1 victory against the U.S. Men's national team, the Americans will look to get their World Cup qualifying campaign back on track with a win tonight against the Reggae Boyz (8pm, ESPN2/Galavision).
Jamaica is leading Group A with seven points and can move a step closer to the Hex with a victory tonight, while the Americans can pull even with the Jamaicans with a win at Crew Stadium, where the U.
COLUMBUS, Ohio-- There figure to be several changes made to the U.S. men's natinonal team's
starting lineup heading into Tuesday's crucial World Cup qualifying showdown vs. Jamaica, and U.S.
head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has already revealed some of them.
Just two days removed from Friday's disappointing 2-1 loss to Jamaica, Jurgen Klinsmann is left
to figure out just which 11 players he can turn to for Tuesday's crucial rematch against the
'Reggae Boyz' in Columbus.
There were few good performances across the board for the Americans, and some that should lead
to changes in the lineup.
New Tottenham Hotspur signing Clint Dempsey has been included in Jurgen Klinsmann's squad for
the home and home games with Jamaica.
Dempsey has to be nowhere near match fitness after missing Fulham's opening games as he tried to
force through his eventful transfer to Spurs.
But with Landon Donovan and Michael Bradley missing from the squad due to injury, Klinsmann had
no choice to include Dempsey, and also Carlos Bocanegra who went through a similar situation with
Rangers, in his 25-man squad.

call up, though has immediately withdrawn due to hamstring injury. Landon Donovan is also not on
the roster after having suffered his own hamstring injury against Mexico down at Azteca.
The new USMNT roster has just been announced only minutes ago. Sean Johnson has again been
called up, which is great news for Fire and USMNT fans. He has earned his spot on the team with his
hard works and goal play, and Jurgen is rewarding him for it. This squad will be facing Jamaica,
not once, but twice back to back for World Cup Qualifying.

Jamaica defeated the United States in CONCACAF 2014 World Cup Qualifying on September 7, 2012.
It's Jamaica's first win against the USA in 19 matches. Few expected the match to be easy or a
given for the United States as they were without key players Michael Bradley and Landon
Donovan.
Things couldn't have started out better for the USA as Clint Dempsey scored in the first
minute.
Jon Levy Two matches in five days against the other top team in our qualifying group. These matches
were always going to be important, but they've taken on even greater significance ever since Marco
Pappa's sublime free kick in Guatemala sent you scrambling for your qualifying schedule. These
could be make-or-break matches.

They certainly don't ever want to make it easy on us. The United States national team left it late, again, as Mix Diskerud, in his third full international cap, grabbed a stoppage time goal to secure a 2-2 draw away in Russia.
Though Russia outplayed the U.S. throughout much of their friendly on Wednesday, two second-half equalizers and some wonderful Tim Howard goalkeeping for the Americans ended up masking their defensive problems. Russia opened the scoring in just the ninth minute and repeatedly threatened to extend their lead, but Tim Howard compensated for his defenders' shortcomings and in the 76th minute, Michael Bradley made it 1-1 with a fine volley off the post from the top of the box.
It wasn't a pretty game at all,in fact it was down right ugly for much of the game, but the USA took care of business in stoppage time to beat Antigua and Barbuda 2-1 tonight in a World Cup Qualifier. Two goals by Eddie Johnson, both assisted by other MLS players led the US.
Michael Parkhurst and Nordsjaelland will try to inch towards the Superliga top-two when they host Aalborg while Clarence Goodson should return to Brondby's starting lineup for their trip to Midtjylland.
