The U.S. Men's National Team is back in sunny South Florida, which for years has served as a
familiar site for training camps and as a launching point for trips to other parts of the region.
This trip offers the bonus of a match at the end of the week, the U.S. taking on Honduras on Oct. 8
at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens.
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has reportedly signed a presidential decree on the
naturalization of six foreign football players, allowing them to become Indonesian.
"We've received a copy of the decree for the naturalized footballers," said Nurhikmat Hamzah,
the head of the Citizenship Naturalization section under the Law and Human Rights Ministry, on
Thursday as quoted by tribunnews.
Arsenal.com, the official website covering all things Gunners, has a long form interview with
their former prodigy, Mr. Steve Zakuani. First noted by @joshuamayers on twitter, Zakuani addresses
his national team affiliation as well as growing up within the Arsenal Academy. Considering the
attention given lately to the idea of playing his as a forward here's his quote regarding where he
played;
I was there for five years and loved every minute.
Aurelien Collin made an interesting comment on Twitter the other day, saying that he is going to be
an American citizen soon. It's an interesting comment and extremely odd at the same time. Collin
hasn't spent near enough time in the country to be getting his citizenship. The more likely thing
that is going on is that Collin is going to be getting his green card.
Even with the recent change in FIFA regulations regarding the change of associations, it's
exceedingly rare to find a player who has represented two different countries at the full
international level. And if those two different countries happen to be the greatest of rivals, you
are talking about long odds indeed.
Friday's here, I'm leaving town, I've come to accept Charlie Adam, and there's a good chance
that if I don't get straight to the point I'll say something embarrassingly lustful about Raul
Meireles omigodilovehimsomuch:
* Following the signing of Charlie Adam and the extensions given to Glen Johnson and Andre
Wisdom, Damien Comolli took a break from smiling deviously to chat with the offal about the the new
boy, what the club's intentions are in the transfer market, and his feeling about things have
proceeded so far.

Andy Najar will apparently end the mystery Tuesday afternoon.
D.C. United has scheduled a press conference for 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday during which Najar will
discuss his national team future and presumably pick which country he will represent, either his
native Honduras or the United States.
Andy Najar is the 18-year old winger, already believed by some to be one of DC United's best
players. He had an impressive first season, making 28 appearances and scoring 5 goals. That
performance created a lot of buzz, particularly because he is a US resident on a path to
citizenship and could play for the USMNT or for his home country, Honduras.
Adelaide United striker Sergio Van Dyke has rejected talk he may move to the Liga Primer Indonesia.
He is applying for Indonesian citizenship and feels playing in the rebel league could jeopardise
his chances of representing Indonesia in the future.
After the dust finally settled on the 2011 MLS SuperDraft, several promising college prospects
were left still looking for a team. In Tuesday's Supplemental Draft, they'll get a second chance to
find an MLS home.
Northern Kentucky's Steven Beattie is among the top prospects still available in Tuesday's
Supplemental Draft.
Some quick news to get you started on just a Suuuuper Draft sort of day.

Only a little from TSG...

Chelsea is looking at former U.S. U-17 defender Neven Subotic to shore up its leaky
defense. The 22-year-old Subotic plays for German leader Borussia Dortmund and is regarded as one
of the top young defenders in Europe.
Subotic has been one of the key players for Dortmund, the runaway leader of the Bundesliga, and is
valued at roughly $30 million.
Carlos Vela's Arsenal career will take a new twist after being allowed to leave on loan for the
rest of the season by manager Arsene Wenger. Carlos, who arrived at the club having served three
seasons out on loan in Spain to qualify for citizenship, will look to return to Spain to get some
