Liverpool head to the High Court to try and validate the sale of the club via a declaratory
judegement, the proof that the boards actions were valid. Led by a confident Chairman in Martin
Broughton, they hope to complete the sale of the club swiftly and obtain Premier League approval
for the purchase.
Liverpool fans celebrate outside High Court as the three victorious board members leave the
hearing...But be sure to go and find the cork screw. Liverpool fans today can breathe a sigh of
relief after the court ruled in favour of RBS and therefore in favour of Martin Broughton,
Christian Purslow and Ian Ayre.

three Carling Cup matches will be shown live this entire week, so it's slim pickings.
What does farce descend into? Liverpool's ownership soap opera picked up considerable pace
yesterday evening, with news that the club is to be bought by the owners of the Boston Red Sox
baseball team. A statement on the club website confirmed that two "excellent" takeover offers. It
also claimed that owners Tom Hicks and George [.
Spade in the ground within 60days? Yet another lie...So, unless you don't have a television, have
been unable to access the internet and don't know what a radio is then you must have been bombarded
in the past week or so with Liverpool news left, right and centre. Of course it's all good that
we're finally being updated but when the news reports contain words only somebody with an English

John W Henry, the principal owner of New England Sports Ventures (NESV) and the Boston Red Sox
baseball team continues to wait to become the proud owner of Liverpool Football Club.
The highly regarded American businessman made a somewhat surprising appearance this evening as
he arrived at 1 Bunhill Row, London, just before 8pm, the offices of Slaughter & May, who have been
advising and handling the legal process for Liverpool's board members Martin Broughton, Christian
Purslow and Ian Ayre.
(Above) Hicks & Colleagues pictured outside Dallas court last night...(Just can't soddin' kill him
off can you?!?!)Folks, forgive me if this is confusing but it's rushed and being typed by somebody
who is slowly going insane. If you were on your laptops/PC's last night as myself from 8o'clock
awaiting for a positive outcome from the board meeting, things were going well to start with.

As expected the news early this morning was that the temporary restraining order obtained from
the Texas court by Tom Hicks and George Gillett, preventing Liverpool FC from completing a sale of
the club to NESV, would be lifted when the court re-opened in to ensure compliance with the High
Court in the UK.
Against all odds, things continue to happen.
And unfortunately, Noel has turned his keyboard to dust.
Let me get the boring blog stuff out of the way first you've likely noticed that Noel has been
carrying quite a bit of the water over the past couple weeks, and has done so mighty well.
Another "quiet" week at Liverpool saw the confirmed resignation of Managing Director
Christian Purslow, although he will remain as a Non Executive Director and will also act as a
Special Adviser to the New England Sports Ventures (NESV). Purslow arrived at the club, with RBS
interaction, in June 2009 as a replacement for the out going Rick Parry.
