Hannover's Ivorian striker Didier Ya Konan came on as a substitute for Jan Schlaudraff in
yesterday's Europa League play-off against Sevilla. While he didn't have a direct impact on the
game, he did produce this little gem. A great back-heel pass under pressure to Henning Hauger for a

Zur Saison 2011/12 ist er nun von Schalke 04 nach Hannover 96 gewechselt und wagt einen weiteren
Comebackversuch. Dass er aber noch andere Talente aufweist, zeigt diese alte Meldung aus 2007

Steve Cherundolo got the start for Hannover 96, drawing 2-2 with FC Copenhagen in Group B. Hannover
took the lead through Christian Pander 29 minutes in, with Copenhagen equalizing in the 58th.
Sergio Pinto put the home team back in front in the 82nd, but Copenhagen split the points with a
late equalizer from Cesar Santin in the 89th minute.
Maybe Dortmund just weren't angry enough. Following through with this theory, I
can't tell you what made them so angry last season. But they certainly felt pretty good about
themselves and their chances in the Champions League coming out of the summer break. After losing
to Olympiacos midweek (declaring bankruptcy, Euro crisis, any Greece related pun you like), they
had to face up to the bitter reality of possibly spending next year out of the Euro zone
(sorry).
