Just days after talks with us had broken down, defender Chris Pozniak signed with cross-country
rivals Vancouver Whitecaps.
After Kevin Harmse was traded to Chivas, Pozniak was spotted training with us and many, myself
included, hoped he would be set for a return to TFC. It wasn't to be however, as apparently we were
having "salary cap" issues.

Canadian players are on the move this week. First it was Lars Hirschfeld signing with FC Energie
Cottbus in Germany. Now it's David Edgar, Josh Simpson, Chris Pozniak and Kevin Harmse.
After much speculation as to where he would end up, David Edgar has finally left Newcastle and
signed a 4 year deal with EPL newcomers Burnley.

Scottish media is reporting that Canadian International defender/midfielder Chris Pozniak has
agreed to a deal with his club Dundee that paves the way for a return to Toronto FC when the
transfer window opens.
The useful utility man was a solid worker bee on a poor TFC in year one. He was foolishly left
unprotected and snapped up in the San Jose expansion draft.

Harmse out, Pozniak in...it's music to my ears. Reports out of Scotland are suggesting that Chris
Pozniak is set to return rejoin Toronto FC for a second stint with us.
He played a pretty significant role in our first season as the ultimate utility man, playing just
about everywhere in the defense and the midfield.

has left the club to return to Toronto FC:

According to the CONCACAF website, we could be missing five players during the Gold Cup (assuming
Ali Gerba signs). Stephen Hart has named his 30-man preliminary squad ahead of the tournament, and
included are Dwayne De Rosario, Adrian Serioux, Nana Attakora, Kevin Harmse, and Ali Gerba. Here is

Durango, Colorado's Ft. Lewis College has one alum playing in Major League Soccer, John Cunliffe.
Cunliffe will be making his return to Colorado tonight with expansion team San Jose Earthquakes. He
played his first season in the MLS with Chivas USA, scoring thrice in 17 appearances. At the end of
this past March, right before the MLS season began, he was traded to San Jose with Chris Pozniak
heading the other way.
