The Seattle Sounders continued their active offseason on Wednesday, officially announcing the signing of 23-year-old fullback/midfielder Christian Sivebaek. The move has been rumored since late December, and the player himself had even confirmed the deal.

"Christian is a player that we have been following for quite some time," Sounders technical director Chris Henderson said in a team release.

When the NCAA Men's D1 bracket was announced there was a somewhat surprising team left out of the tournament. Despite a 12-4-2 record, winning 7 of their last 8 and being 18th in the Coaches Poll the University of Washington Huskies season did not continue. Teal Bunbury dominated Sunday after stats this week.
Teal Bunbury became the all time leading scorer vs Houston with his 2 goals. He now has 3 all time vs the Dynamo.
Bunbury's first goal was the 50th of the season in all competitions for KC, it's the first time they've hit 50 goals in a season since 2005.

Last night the Rapids tried out a new lineup but got similar results to what they've been seeing. Giving Cummings some continued rest Folan was put up front with Nyassi as a withdrawn striker underneath him. Early on it paid off, as Kimura launched Mastroeni(?!?!) down the right sideline and Pablo whipped in a perfect cross that Folan headed into the upper corner for the lead.
