After watching a fair amount of the SuperLiga games from the group stage I think its safe to say that the tournament's sophomore year has been a pretty big success. Just shy of 29,000 were in attendance last night at Robertson Stadium to find out which of these two sides would rise to the top of Group A.

I watched the second part of the second half of DC/Guadalajara match and it was pretty bad. I think injuries were part of the problem, but I don't know that Rod could score if the keeper was on the other side of the pitch. Last year I watched the SuperLiga with interest and it turned out to be a lot of fun. I rooted for MLS teams the whole way through, even if I didn't actually like some of them. This year will obviously be no different, rooting wise. I watched both the DC United game and Houston's game, and man. I can't remember the last time I saw two such completely different matches.
