Nery Castillo ha expresado su deseo de regresar a la Selección mexicana mediante la red
social de Twitter.
Después de que en los dos últimos encuentros eliminatorios no fuera convocado por Javier
Aguirre, Nery ve poco a poco como el mundial se le escapa de las manos. Ahora si dice que

Vote for Claudio or Davy. They both are nominated twice. Claudio's goals include his beautiful free
kick in week 10 against Chivas and week 19's shot from the middle of the field against LA. Davy's
goals include the week 1 blast against Toronto and the week 13 goal against New England. I have
hard time deciding my favorite.

With only 3 weeks left in the Mexican Apertura regular season, we can be certain of one thing: we
still have no idea who is going to make the liguilla. Some call it parity, others call it
mediocrity. I call it chaos.
Only one team is assured of a post season birth: Toluca. Mexican futbol's cooky, crazy group
system, though, offers no guarantees to the other teams that are in the top 8 slots of the table.

Los dÃas de Raúl Arias en el rebaño sagrado terminaron más rápido que lo
que tarda un niño en acabarse su paleta.
Los malos resultados, la pésima forma de jugar y las pocas variantes al frente además
de la malÃsima forma de defenderse fueron suficientes para que Jorge Vergara y la

Guadalajara.

For a moment Donovan Ricketts looked like he was going to burst a blood vessel after the Chivas
attack had carved up the LA defense again and again. After he saved a sure goal from Maicon Santos
he launched into a tirade against his defenders. His fury was absolutely justified at those bunch
of clowns.

Fue una excelente victoria, nadie lo niega, fue todo lo contrario al clasico jugamos como nunca
perdimos como siempre, el equipo mexicano se alzo con los tres puntos, y la clasificacion a la
siguiente ronda del mundial de clubes pero si el futbol obedeciera a la razon el partido debio de
haber quedado con dos o tres goles a favor de los japoneses.

Después de una jornada muy floja en donde los equipos grandes han bajado notablemente su
calidad su estilo de juego y los equipos chicos están dejando de ser eso, se viene una jornada
sumamente difÃcil de pronosticar, más que todo porque no se sabe si no habrá sorpresas o
saldrán con alguna historia terrorÃfica.

Cuando se estaba jugando mal y nuestro portero José "Pepe" RodrÃguez estaba dando un
partidazo, cae el gol de México para conseguir el triunfo que necesitábamos para seguir
con vida en la Copa Mundial Sub 17 en Nigeria.
La selección Sub 17 que dirige José Luis González China consigue un importante triunfo ante
la selección de Japón por dos goles a cero y asà conseguir el pase a los Octavos de
final como segundo lugar del Grupo B; ya que en el otro encuentro del grupo Suiza le gana
a Brasil por la mÃnima diferencia.

I've also been meaning to put in my own take on the 2009 MLS regular season attendance numbers. Tom
over at PI looks at the issue in terms of expansion teams versus older clubs, but I'm not sure
that's a complete analysis. This won't be either, but here's a few brief points:
1) Outside Seattle, no team saw more than a 1% increase in attendance - except San Jose because of
the Barcelona double header.
