Joel Griffiths and his brother played in the victorious Beijing team, champions of all China. Joel didn't get to play in the last game as he has a 7 week suspension - for rude gestures at opposing fans.

Copa Mundial Sub-17: México gana y califica a Octavos de Final

Cuando se estaba jugando mal y nuestro portero José "Pepe" Rodríguez estaba dando un partidazo, cae el gol de México para conseguir el triunfo que necesitábamos para seguir con vida en la Copa Mundial Sub 17 en Nigeria.

La selección Sub 17 que dirige José Luis González China consigue un importante triunfo ante la selección de Japón por dos goles a cero y así conseguir el pase a los Octavos de final como segundo lugar del Grupo B; ya que en el otro encuentro del grupo Suiza le gana a Brasil por la mínima diferencia.

Hablar de la Selección Nacional de Futbol, a todos los aficionados nos hace sentir que somos unos expertos en el tema, sobre todo, cuando en el primer partido, en el Mundial Sub-17, el equipo, se presentó con una derrota ante Suiza. Cierto selecto grupo  de la prensa  mencionó,  que jugaron pésimo, que se  tuvo una deficiente preparación de cara al mundial, apenas se trato del debut, y ya lo querían enviar de regreso a México.
