The club has announced that David Beckham will remain with Spurs until the 22nd of February.
The statement reads: "David Beckham has extended his training spell at the club until February
22. The England midfielder will now return to Los Angeles to report for pre-season training with LA
Galaxy on February 24.
The Chicago Fire Juniors started in 2004 as the official youth club of the Chicago Fire. There
are currently eight branches: Fire Juniors (Naperville), Fire Juniors South, Fire Juniors Northwest
Indiana, Fire Juniors North, Fire Juniors Louisiana, Fire Juniors Florida, Mississippi Fire
Juniors, and West Michigan Fire Juniors.
The Chicago Fire website featured a big story by the Chicago Tribune's Jack McCarty on the
recent open try-outs. In the article, McCarty focuses on the two players I thought had the most
appeal, Andrew Lichaj and Steve Purdy. Andrew Lichaj is the brother of Aston Villa and USMNT RB
Eric Lichaj. Steve Purdy is a goaltender who attended the University of Illinois-Chicago and was
rumored to be a target of the Fire's in last year's draft.

After notching seven goals last season en route to being a Rookie of the Year finalist, Mwanga
