The extraordinary delays in a resolution to the Terry-Ferdinand affair have already resulted in
the wholly unnecessary cop-out by the FA and the Premier League in asking Chelsea and QPR to forego
handshakes in their recent league clash.

Tottenham are set to renew their interest in Joe Cole - if Luka Modric is allowed to go to
Chelsea.
Liverpool outcast Cole looks destined to leave Anfield after just a year and he could be reunited
with his old Hammers boss Harry Redknapp at White Hart Lane.
Cole is surplus to requirements on Merseyside following the summer arrival of Jordan Henderson from
Sunderland, but the 29-year-old's move south depends on Spurs granting Modric his dream move across
London to Chelsea.

Jonathan Spector is set to become a free agent this summer, but West Ham United is hoping that

Belgian international striker Romelu Lukaku is set to make a Barclays Premier League move this
summer.
The teenage prodigy has attracted interest from the cream of Europe, with Real Madrid, AC Milan,
Juventus and Barcelona all monitoring the Anderlecht forward in the past year.
A handful of English clubs have been tracking the player for some time, with Liverpool, Manchester
United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea all thought to be keen on bringing the player
to their club.
So if reports are to be believed, Chelsea have been quoted a figure of £25m if they want to sign
one of the hottest properties in Europe, 17 year old Romelu Lukaku. That's the figure his club
Anderlecht have apparently quoted anyone interested!.
"Anderlecht general manager Herman van Holsbeeck told Belgian paper Sudpresse there are plenty
of teams interested in meeting the valuation: "The Lukaku price in the market is 30m euros.
The close proximity of fixtures means there is no time to reflect on the previous game but we
can certainly enjoy the transfer dealings on a hectic final day before the serious stuff starts
with the visit by Everton.
Torres, Luiz to Chelsea; Carroll, Adam to Liverpool; there are plenty of potentially season
defining deals going on.
