Chelsea lost the chance to consolidate their fourth place position in the league yesterday after
they were humbled 2-0 by Everton at Goodison Park. Goals from Steven Pienaar and Denis
Stracqualursi condemned Villas-Boas to his 6 loss of the season and saw Arsenal overtake them into
4th place after a 2-1 away over Sunderland.
As you people know, I have been right behind AVB as our manager. I have said that it's a hard job
trying to regenerate this team and build something new. We have heard the saying a team in
transition alot this season but you need a base to build from and that base has to be a good team.
As it proved today Chelsea are NOT a good team.
(Quote taken from the VladVideo Channel about this one)
"Think, Torres has been very unlucky since he joined to Chelsea, and I hope that the Chelsea fans
don't lose patience over him. I like this player, and this comp about him. Hope you'll like."

Saturday is going to be a hard game, it always is at Goodison. Everton boosted by the signings of
Donovan, Gibson and possibly Jelavic making his debut will be up for this one after we beat them
earlier in the season at Stamford Bridge.
The big questions will be over AVB's team selection.

On initial inspection, similarities between Andre Villas-Boas' Chelsea and Edgar Allan Poe seem
most abundantly clear in a shared propensity for an excruciating and painfully drawn-out narrative
(think Fernando Torres and The Pit and Pendulum).
It's the CDS and is new from me to you the Chelsea fans all over the world. It's simple, I talk
about the Chelsea news of the day as featured on my blog!. Enjoy!

England striker Wayne Rooney scored 2 penalties and produced an inspiring second half display as
Manchester United fought back from a seemingly hopeless position at Stanford Bridge. Trailing by a
single goal at half time, even the most die hard of United supporters must have thought all was
lost when a disastrous start to the second half saw early goals from Chelsea playmaker Juan Mata
(who buried a stunning volley) and a deflected set piece header from centre back David Luiz treble
the home side's advantage in a sequence of events that all Chelsea fan's must surely have believed
would put the game to bed as a contest.
Here's a depressing statistics for Chelsea fans: based on his strike rate with the Blues, it
would take Fernando Torres around 20 years to score 100 goals. Potential transfer target Neymar, on
the other hand, yesterday completed a career century on his 20th birthday, five games into his
fourth top-flight season.
Rio Ferdinand was booed throughout United's 3-3 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge yesterday.
Whilst Rio has never been a popular player with Chelsea fans, given his West Ham and Leeds history,
as well as the issues over the England captaincy, it was clear that Rio was singled out for special
abuse yesterday thanks to John Terry's charge for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand.
CNN's Piers Morgan (left) does a weird thing with his mouth after he
speaks. His lips pinch tight. As if the torpedo tube is being sealed until the next salvo. It can
be quite intimidating. It fits the style of a man who was previously employed as a tabloid editor
in the warfare of English newspapers.
It's a massive game on Sunday and two sides in contrasting situations. Chelsea are not playing as
well as we would like to see them playing and are still
struggling to create chances and
feed Fernando Torres. We find ourselves 12 points behind United.
United, with plenty of injuries are still picking up vital wins and are now back on level par with
City.
Now before regular readers come and have a pop at me following on
from my post the other day
after the QPR game, I want to make a point that I am trying to make clear to you all.
My issue at the moment is and has been that we all know we aren't playing well, we know we are a
couple of players short of winning the league, we know we are in a struggle for fourth place and
have various issues with players at the moment.
As Chelsea fans and especially in recent seasons, we are always interested in seeing some of our
promising youngsters come through into the first team squad. The likes of Betrand, McEachran, Van
Aanholt and Bruma have featured last season but we haven't really seen much of the youngsters this
term.

I watched the game and come away from it thinking "Good performance" and "Good result, we're
through!" and being honest I cannot believe the negativity that has come from "Chelsea fans" on
here and Twitter to me after the game.
Some of you lot need a kick up the arse and to get a sense of realism right now.

One thing I have noticed on my blog and amongst Chelsea fans in general is a difference of opinion
about our formation and who should be starting games. Of course we all know that for now AVB
prefers the 4-3-3 formation as per managers before him here, but I just wonder what you the Chelsea
fan reading this believes to be our better option(s).
As if today's disappointing result wasn't enough to elicit anger, we now have news that a
section of Chelsea supporters were reported to authorities after allegedly making racist remarks
about Anton Ferdinand as they were traveling back from Norfolk via train.
Chelsea Football Club is concerned to hear that a small number of fans travelling back by train
from Norwich were alleged to be involved in racist chants and comment.
Football at the moment is about money isn't it. All we are reading and hearing about at the moment
is either player salaries or the size of transfer fee's. Chelsea are now a club that is constantly
linked with big money moves in EVERY transfer window as AVB looks to rejuvenate our club out of the
shadows of the Mourinho era.
Fernando Torres has certainly been putting in the hard work on the training pitch for Chelsea, with
this hard graft appearing to pay dividends in recent games during which he has almost been able to
capitalise upon the absence of Didier Drogba by displaying a few good performances up front, but
Torres has still failed to win over the Chelsea fans by doing the one job that is expected of him:
scoring goals.
With the news that
Gary Cahill has finally signed for Chelsea and after already asking you
guys
what the signing of Cahill means for the likes of David Luiz, I am wondering what you
the Chelsea fans believe is now our best starting back four.
It's important to remember that AVB intended to play a high line in the Premier League with
defenders who are also technically gifted.
Nico Anelka, speaking ahead of his "new adventure" in China has taken the time out to release a
statement thanking the Chelsea fans for their support in "four wonderful years" at the club. The
statement in full says:
"I want to thank you all for the support you have always provided.

I wish I could furnish you today with news of multiple transfers, but alas I live in the real
world. There is very little out there to report.
Looking through this list on Football 365, you realise that we're not alone. There is very little
movement happening anywhere in the prem, even at Man City.
This afternoon Portsmouth travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea in the FA Cup third round.
Can you believe that just over a year and a half ago, both sides fought out a tight encounter in
the FA Cup final at Wembley!?.
Since then, both sides have had their dramas. We as Chelsea fans think we've had it bad but for
Portsmouth fans, they had to face the reality of their football club being wound up, court cases,
liquidators and contemplating life without their club anymore!

So i don't know whether to believe these rumours or simply laugh them off. Aston Villa are
reported to be seriously considering signing Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.
By all standards, Villa is a good team, however, Alex Mcleish's plans on Drogba joining at the
end of the season are a bit too ambitious.
Anxiety is mounting among Chelsea fans as to whether the club will offer their icon Didier
Drogba a new deal that would keep him at the bridge longer. Drogba's contract is set to run out
this summer and according to coach Andres Villas-Boas he is hopeful that Drogba will sign a new
contract with the club.
New year celebrations for Chelsea fans were cancelled after the Blues suffered a humiliating 3-1
home loss to Aston Villa yesterday. Not only has this loss pushed Chelsea down to 5th position in
the league, but coach AVB has also conceded that his primary target now is to ensure Chelsea
challenge for a top 4 finish.
You could see it coming a mile off couldn't you!. Once again we struggled to break a side down that
comes here and lines up with ten men behind the ball. It's all well and good having the majority of
the possession of the ball but you HAVE TO do something with it.
How many fucking times am I saying the same thing over and over again?

Let's not beat around the bush here and let's tell it like it is. We've seen two managers, drama,
controversy, speculation, excitement, frustration and find ourselves at the turn of this year in
the exact same position as we did a year ago. Isn't it strange how things have turned out!
This is my review of 2011 and a year on my blog as written by me, a lifelong Chelsea fan giving you
my take on everything that happened.
Like Gerard Pique and Cesc Fabregas before him it seems that Oriol Romeu is already flirting
with a return to his boyhood club. Despite only signing for Chelsea in the summer of 2011, just a
few months ago, his rise has been well noted. Last season he was in the Barcelona B side and this
year he is a first team starter for Andre Villas-Boas' Chelsea side.
It's common knowledge that AVB wants Gary Cahill and late last night The Mirror broke an
"Exclusive" stating that a fee of £7m that has been touted about HAS been agreed between Bolton
and Chelsea and it's now in the hands of the players agent and Chelsea's Ron Gourlay to thrash out
personal terms.
If you're a Blues fan, this just hasn't been a good month. Draw Spurs and now you are in 4th
looking up at Man City... Then, despite 12 shots on goal, you can only find the back of the net
once (thanks Torres for missing yet again), as Dempsey scores his 9th of the season to pull back a
point for Fulham at the Bridge no less.
So here we go with the madness that happens every year around the Christmas and New Year period
with games coming thick and fast. After a good point at White Hart Lane, Chelsea have a chance to
grab six points in the next few days against Villa on Saturday and Fulham today.
This afternoon is our second London derby in the space of four days and will be just as difficult
as Spurs was.
If everyone can stop doing racisms for just one minute! Phew. Glad we got that sorted.
Rightio, ahead of tonight's big game with Chelsea, I've roped in one of the chaps behind the
fabulous movie trailer review site, Trailer Trash. It's Harry Thompson and he just happens to have
the grave misfortune of being a Blues fan.
It's a fact that I think will divide opinion amongst Chelsea fans, Spurs fans and even football
neutrals right now. Chelsea had a hoodoo over Spurs for years and called their patch "three point
lane" but you have to admit we can't call it that anymore can we.
Spurs (no matter what your bias is) have done great under Harry Redknapp considering that some of
them didn't want him!
Another player that Chelsea fans are confused about at the moment is Josh McEachran. Having asked
to go out on loan back in the summer and
being told "No" by AVB and that he is in his plans
for the season, we are reading reports yet again this morning of a loan deal on the cards in
January.
Yesterday during the open training session at Stamford Bridge we had the news that John Terry had
suffered an injury and at first was doubtful to face Spurs on Thursday night. Thank god that it
seems as though we will now be OK for the game as I really believe he is one player we simply
cannot afford to miss right now.
