How many international breaks have there been this season already? It seems like time and again
the Premiership season has been disturbed by a string of international fixtures this year, many of
which have been friendlies. The latest England jolly to Doha for a friendly with Brazil may have
cost Chelsea a high price.

Chelsea fans will already know that, last Friday, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)
granted Chelsea a stay in relation to the transfer ban FIFA imposed back in September. Since then,
the papers have been full of wild and wonderful reports on who Gourlay, Arnesen and Abramovich are
plotting to bring to Stamford Bridge when the transfer window reopens in January.

Terry deals with his demons as Chelsea get lucky. Things you should have noticed from
Sunday's big encounter:
Ain't that just the way that life goes down down down
Well, it was bound to happen. As sure as eggs is eggs, the sky is blue and that Mrs. Marlon King
will be enjoying a nice relaxing few months, John Terry was bound to score the winner against Man
Utd sooner or later.

I know Ronny would act the twat at times but I'm honestly struggling to think of an occasion
when I would be more embarrassed to support a team who had a player like this in it. How can
Chelsea fans tolerate this totally cringeworthy episode. I mean, seriously, what the fuck is he
doing?

By means of a warm up ahead of this afternoons big match, here is a classic encounter between
the two teams. This one from Moscow is clearly going to be more fun for United fans to watch, but
don't worry we will post one that has Chelsea fans cheering as well.

Great news the other day from Chelsea's new Chief Exec Ron Gourlay that Chelsea are in discussions
with Joe Cole about a new deal. He said:
'We are already in discussions with Joe,' 'The situation is that he is coming to the end of his
contract, he is 28-years-old on the day of the Manchester United game and we're entering into the
period where Joe is looking to negotiate his new contract.

Another day, another Chelsea controversy. Hot on the heels of the ‘noise' surrounding
Newcastle's decision to sell naming rights to St. James' Park, new Chelsea Chief Executive Ron
Gourlay announced that Chelsea are considering something similar at Stamford Bridge.
And what outrage it has caused among many Chelsea fans.

Football has changed immeasurably over the past ten or twenty years and, with it, Chelsea
Football Club. Fans no longer exclusively hail from the Kings Road, South West London or Surrey.
Since Roman Abramovich bought the club in particular, Chelsea has drawn increased interest from all
over the world with blue shirts appearing on pretty much every continent.

It was a great weekend in the Premier League for Chelsea. Not only did the Blues finally hit top
gear to crush Blackburn 5-0, Liverpool took three points off Manchester United while Man City and
Arsenal both dropped points having surrendered two goal leads.
Chelsea now sit two points clear at the top of the table with the joint best goal difference and,
whilst more difficult games are on the horizon (not least Man Utd next month), things are looking
bright.

Despite a woeful recent record away from home, you might have expected Allardyce's Blackburn to
have put up more of a fight against Chelsea yesterday. But this was a masterclass performance from
the Ancelotti's men who unleashed a second half blue-coloured blitzkrieg to put five past a hapless
Blackburn Rovers.

television coverage has changed football over the last ten years is startlingly apparent.

Thanks to 101 Great Goals for giving us the heads up on this one. This is not
to say that Chelsea fans are the only ones out there acting in such a disgraceful manner but
nonetheless this is truly despicable and something all football fans probably wished was something
that was consigned to the dark days of the game.

Having not seen the game from beginning to end, I don't feel 100% qualified to comment too much
on Chelsea's first defeat of the season. That said, I think I've seen enough to know that the
doomsday-like pessimism from some Chelsea fans on message boards and forums is just as knee-jerk as
the talk of Chelsea being shoo-ins for the title had been before Saturday's loss.

After the Hull game back in August I wrote a brief post questioning why it takes so long to
queue to get through the turnstiles at Stamford Bridge. That day it took me half an hour to get
from the Britannia Gate to my seat, and I missed the first 12 minutes of the Spurs game on Sunday
despite joining the one of the queues into the Matthew Harding Lower at 3.

I know as soon as I dare to mention Sol Campbell's name, hundreds of people get straight on the
comments to jump to his defence, but the bloke is seriously unbalanced. He's gone from one of the
best defenders in the country to one of the biggest jokes in a relatively short space of time. I
doubt he'd sign for Arsenal if he could have his time again; it all started going wrong from that
point!

This afternoon at Stamford Bridge Chelsea take on Tottenham which is our biggest test of the season

Chelsea fans have been left surprised and confused by Peter Kenyon's sudden exit from his
position as chief executive at Stamford Bridge. Rumors are slowly coming out about the reasons
behind Kenyon's exit, and it appears as if the power struggle between Kenyon and sporting director
Frank Arnesen eventually got the better of the former Manchester United executive.
