Copeland’s goal helps Regis tie Mines

James Copeland scored as the Regis University men's soccer team tied the 15th-ranked Colorado School of Mines on Friday in Denver.

Regis remained unbeaten in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play. The Rangers' record is 4-2-3 overall, 2-0-3 in conference.

"Whenever you play Mines, it is going to be a tough match, especially when they are ranked in the Top 15," Regis coach Tony McCall said.

Santa Clara 1, Colorado 0 OT: At Palo Alto, Calif., the Buffaloes dropped their second contest in the Stanford?Nike Invitational. Linder would be tested two more times in a one-minute span, coming up with the saves on both attempts, however with less than two minutes to play in the first overtime period, Santa Clara would seal the deal and finally sneak past Linder for the win.
