The Vancouver Whitecaps' two 2011 first-round draft picks connected for an early goal, leading
the club to a 1-0 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes in MLS Reserve League play on Tuesday.
Michael Nanchoff chipped over the defense toward Omar Salgado, who finished with a left-footed
shot from the top of the box in the 11th minute for the only tally of the match.
