Guingamp face will host Ajaccio tonight at the Roudourou, a game that EAG must win if they are
to avoid relegation this season.
A victory will not guarentee survival as it is now out of their hands, an EAG victory and a draw
in the Chateauroux v Strasbourg match will be enough for EAG to survive but if that match find a
winner then a defeat for Vannes against FC Metz is also required.
Guingamp were tonight relegated to the French third tier despite defeating Ajaccio 2-1 at the
Roudourou.
EAG knew that they would have to rely on results elsewhere if they were to avoid relegation
tonight. Vannes pulled off a shock 1-0 victory away at FC Metz which meant that EAG needed a draw
in the game between Chateauroux and Strasbourg, however Chateauroux ran out 2-1 winners, a result
that relegated Strasbourg.
