their challenge to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to mark it as "Chelsea Territory" and most importantly
of all, to raise money for FOUR tremendous charities: Help a Capital Child, Right to Play
International, Association for Suicide prevention and Save the Children.

One post an hour for 24 hours with topics chosen on Twitter and by fellow bloggers.
All in aid of two fantastic charities: Alzheimer Scotland and the Homeless World Cup.
24 hours, a few energy drinks, too many cigarettes and 17,000 words later and I was done.
The charity appeal set up to raise money in memory of Nigel Doughty has reached the £4,000 mark in
under two weeks. The tribute, set up by LTLF Forum member Paul Elmore, has been raising money for
ChildLine, one of Mr Doughty's favourite charities. With gift aid included the current total raised
is £4,822.

Tony Pulis, Stoke City's tracksuit-wearing purveyor of the not-so-beautiful game has dodged a
driving ban after claiming in court that a ban would affect his job with the Potters so much that
they could get relegated.
At a press conference in the new stadium today, the Dynamo annonced they will host Valencia from
La Liga in the 2012 Dynamo Charities Cup. The match will be played on Thursday, May 31st and markes
the first time the Dynamo have played a club from Spain's top division.

The Houston Dynamo and Spain's Valencia announced today that they will meet in the fourth
edition of the BBVA Compass Dynamo Charities Cup.
Valencia have announced that they have agreed to a post-season tour of the USA with games
against the Portland Timbers on May 23 and the Houston Dynamo on May 31.
"This is another step forward for the expansion of the club in which we work," Valencia
president Manuel Llorente said.
Last week Houston Dynamo Defender Geoff Cameron announced that he would be working with Dynamo
Charities to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The fundraising will include an
upcoming celebrity pour, campaign T-shirts, a FIFA Street tournament, and a special ticket package
for the Dynamo's match against the Portland Timbers on May 15th.

There's been some recent buzz around the Houston Dynamo, and it's not all centered around the
brand spankin' shiny new toy, BBVA Compass Stadium. As we continue to count down the final week
until the first Houston Dynamo home match on their pretty new pitch inside their absolutely
gorgeous new stadium, an announcement was made which has polarized certain entities and united
others.
