I might be a bit premature in saying this, but with our Champion's League hopes hanging by a
thread, I was looking at the B competition, The Europa League.
In it you have some of the powerhouses of European football such as Stum Graz, FC Sheriff, Fc
Twente, Bate, Dinamo Zagreb, Austria Vienna and other Luminaries of the game!

Liverpool drew 1-1 with Lyon last night, leaving any chance of getting through the group stages of
the Champion's League hanging by a thread' but what do you think went wrong last night? There are a
number of possible reasons: Rafa's tactics/his woeful decision to play Voronin/the lack of
introduction of Aquilani/bringing on Babel too late, [.

After last night's rout against AZ Alkmaar in the Champion's League Group stage, Arsene Wenger said
that he does not need to buy new players when the transfer window re-open again in January.
Arsenal boast abundance of attacking options at their disposal, with the likes of Van Persie,
Bendtner, Eduardo, Walcott, Vela, Rosicky, Nasri, Arshavin, Denilson, etc.

Liverpool face Lyon in the Champion's League tonight, but given the fact that Rafa has an injury
list longer than his arm; who do you think should play? The squad is as follows: Reina, Cavalieri,
Carragher, Ayala, Darby, Insua, Agger, Kyrgiakos, Kuyt, Lucas, Benayoun, Aquilani, Babel,
Mascherano, Spearing, Plessis, Ngog, Voronin, Torres.

Sir Alex Ferguson has referee issues again. He called referee Olegario Benquerenca's decision not
to give Darren Fletcher a penalty in the Man U v/s CSKA champion's league clash the worst decision
he has ever seen.Meanwhile the game ended at 3 goals a piece.Michael Owen's goal stretched the
offside rule to the limits of its credibility.

The Reds of Liverpool showed great promise early in the season going on a 6 match winning streak
after dropping their first match to Tottenham. Then, over the last 4 matches...they've lost 3.Â
Liverpool was so UPthat I considered doing a long interest piece on the team, then
I got distracted with all the other mayhem and foolishness going on in the Premier League and now I
look up and they've lost 3 of 4 matches.

The News Of The World have had a statement from a
Man United ‘insider', who claims that
defender
Rio Ferdinand could be out for up to eight weeks. Ferdinand has struggled with a
back injury ever since last season's Champion's League game against Porto.
It has been obvious that there is something wrong with Ferdinand; he hasn't quite been himself and
if that is down to an injury then hopefully that can be sorted.

Its got to be Liverpool's worst run in years.Five defeats in the League already, beaten twice in
the Champion's League and we will be going out unless we win our last three group matches, plus out
of the Carling Cup alreadyIt is Rafa Benitez's poorest spell in charge of Liverpool since he joined
us five years ago.

So once again, right here on the cusp of the playoffs, when we should all be feeling good about MLS
and the competition and the soon-to-be champion, we get reality smacking us in the face that this
is a league that is run by a bunch of marketing executives who think that selling toothpaste is the
same as running a sports league.

bomber scuola Milan, arrivato quest'anno in Liguria, sponda blucerchiata, dopo quattro stagioni
trascorse in Toscana, all'Empoli, e infine Davide Santon, nato calcisticamente come esterno a

esordire in Coppa Italia contro la Roma.

After Barca destroyed Zaragoza 6-0 the other day now we have saying Xavi saying it's all good in
the home of the '92 Olympics.
I beg to differ.
Listen, they drew Valencia (no slouch of a team, but they're not as good as Barca), they lost to
a Russian club in the Champion's League and then they took out their frustrations on Zaragoza.

We've seen it happen before. Many times over. Sadly, companies and their marketing teams like to
take hot footballers and turn them into dorks for sales purposes. It's a wide-spread (albeit,
entertaining) issue in our community.
This Gillette ad wants you to rate the "champion of the future" and you can win a razor.

It was the best of times, it is the worst of times now for Liverpool fans - of that there can be

the Premier League by nearly double digits, this was going to be the year that finally ended
Liverpool fans long wait for the biggest domestic prize.

Although you'd never find a UEFA marketing man who'd admit it, the Champion's League is not always
about glamour and glitz.Sometimes it's dull and dismal. Ibrox might well be sprinkled with some of
that old magic dust tonight but at first glance the meeting of Rangers and Romanian champions
Unirea Urziceni has all the allure of a wet weekend in Cowdenbeath.

Torres is still out hurt after playing for Spain that's
five times in a row he has
come back from International duty injured, that's totally unacceptable.

Our tiny little corner of the World Wide Web is all a titter because the USL office has emailed

This information was broken by Brian Quarstad at Inside Minnesota Soccer.
It seems that these three ring leaders of the TOA group have not paid their fees for the 2010
season by the September 1st deadline.
