This season, there seems to be a lot more wide receiver sleepers than usual. In the 2011 fantasy
football season, there are sure to be three or four WRs that come out of nowhere and shine. Here's
our look at the 2011 wide receiver sleepers.
Chad Ochocinco, New England Patriots
Yes, Chad Ochocinco is annoying.
Logan Mankins and the New England Patriots have been haggling over a long-term contract for
years. On Wednesday, the two sides reportedly came to an agreement. There aren't any dollar figure
amounts yet but the deal is said to be for six season. Logan Mankins was set to make a little bit
more than $10 million this season.
You know that Chad Ochocinco was traded to the New England Patriots. But did you know that the
Patriots already have a No. 85 on their roster. This poses a potential hilarious situation. Will
Chad Ochocinco need a number change?
If he wears No. 81, will he change his name to Chad Ochouno? Or perhaps he will regain his
senses and go back to being Chad Johnson .
The New England Patriots aren't being bashful. Earlier today, the Patriots traded for Albert
Haynesworth. Now, in breaking news, the Patriots have acquired Chad Ochocinco in a trade with the
Cincinnati Bengals. The trade became official after Chad Ochocinco agreed to rework his contract
number.
According to reports, the Bengals will receive a pair of draft picks in return for their most
most talked about player.
There have been several changes to the Wizards this off season. And now that we have a few
games under our belt I think it would be a good idea to talk about what might have been or will be
the best change so far. Is it the addition of Omar Bravo, Milos Stojcev, or C.J. Sapong? Or
maybe the name, colors, or kit changes?
The latest podcast has been up for awhile now. We discuss Ochocinco, Sporting KC news and games as
well as the US games.Get it from iTunesorPosterousThanks to The Vandon Arms, a great band out of
Iowa. Their latest album is The Sent Off EP and contains several soccer related songs.
Instead of offering up just another bland match preview, I've come up with five (fairly) solid
reasons of why the Vancouver Whitecaps FC will defeat Sporting Kansas City this weekend. If you're
against excessive positivity, at the bottom I've also listed who won't be playing for the Whitecaps
due to U-20 action or injury.

Lots of small bits of news already going down today. First the sod for Livestrong Sporting Park
arrived during the night from Colorado and is currently being laid out at the new stadium. Watch
the progress on the webcam and enjoy as we get one more "visual" step closer to completion. The
next visual step, seats.
In the first preseason game of the season for the Swope Park Rangers, the SKC reserves fell 3-2 to
the KC Brass, the local PDL side. The big attraction of the game was the inclusion of trialist Chad
Ochocinco in the game. Ochocinco came on as a substitute in the second 30 minute session and then
played the entire third session for the Rangers.
Some quick news before I head out to catch the bus.
Chad Ochocinco's trial with Sporting KC has been extended by 2 days to Monday. This is to give KC
to get a look at him in a reserve game, as Monday the Rangers take on the Kansas City Brass. This
is the first reserve game of the season since the league started.
Was able to talk to Chad Ochocinco after practice. He has been invited to stay at least through
Monday when the reserves for Sporting Kansas City will scrimmage the Kansas City Brass. Ochocinco
will get some playing time in that game been it has not been determined how much. Chad Ochocinco

I've been busy over the past week on the other site -- still am, as a matter of fact -- so I
haven't had time to blog about Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson's impending tryout with Sporting KC which
started today. I knew that Johnson was a soccer fan -- he played at youth level, is a big follower
of the UEFA Champions League, is friends with Thierry Henry and David Beckham among other players
-- but I share Ives Galarcep's opinion that the idea that an athlete who hasn't played soccer in
close to two decades can walk into a professional.
So today was the first day of Chad Ochocinco's 4 day trial with Sporting Kansas City, and the media
circus that was destined to follow was in tow. And after one day I think there's two words that
Wizards fans are going to be hearing a lot of over the rest of this week, humble pie. After his
first training session with the team, Ochocinco used the word humble in one form or another more
times than I think anyone would care to count.
Chad Ochocinco (or Johnson, not sure what he goes by now) is trying out today with Sporting
KC.
The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver has always talked about his skills on the real football
field and today he will begin a four-day tryout with the Major League Soccer team in Kansas
City.
You can watch his tryout live here.
Last week on Twitter, Kei Kamara and Teal Bunbury tweeted at Cincinnati Bengals' wide receiver,
Chad Ochocinco, saying he should come train with Sporting KC now that the NFL has locked the
players out. I'd avoided comment on the topic at the time because I figured it was just going to go
away with out anything so I really did not want to get on it.
Chad Ochocinco, né Johnson, is one of the most thoroughly entertaining athletes in American
sports, as typically typically he does so without being a complete ass about it. The type of guy
every sport could use, really, even if he does have a touch of diva (well NFL wide receiver).
And he wants football.
