I like to think my post yesterday made the difference. That it was the final piece that brought
Buddle back. Okay, maybe not. But I can still think that.

him play and thought he had a lot of potential.

MLS Reserve League.
Chivas USA's reserves topped the Los Angeles Galaxy reserves convincingly on Monday afternoon,
winning 4-2 at Field 1 of the Home Depot Center. Cesar Romero led the way for the Goats, scoring a
second-half hat-trick in the match.
Random thoughts as I head out to LA Galaxy training today
* If David Junior Lopes works out, he could really give the Galaxy some flexibility. Part of the
problem for the Galaxy is that certain players have to play in certain positions. Last year, Sean
Franklin was able to play in the midfield sometimes while AJ De La Garza could play in middle, out
wide or take a breather for a game or two.

Down by one goal heading into stoppage time, another loss filled with missed opportunities and
defensive mistakes seemed likely for the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday night.
Turns out all they needed was one chance.
In a wild match at the Home Depot Center, it was the battle-tested veteran Pat Noonan that
played the role of hero for the Galaxy, as his goal in the 92nd minute helped LA avert what
would've been another head-scratching loss, and instead, the Galaxy come out of Saturday's match
with FC Dallas with a point courtesy of a 1-1 draw.

Even including results in non-MLS competition Seattle's record against the LA Galaxy is not good
enough for Sounders fans. There is no other team that can clearly be argued as better than the one
here. Both have three major trophies in the past three years, but LA's are more significant. They
are roughly equal in CCL play.
Nagging injuries, travel, and a Saturday fixture with NY Red Bulls meant that David Beckham and
Robbie Keane would not be participating in tonight's match in against the Sounders in Seattle.
Galaxy would start Adam Cristman & Chad Barrett up front to match the physicality of Jeff Parke and
Jhon Kennedy Hurtado.

CARSON, Calif--The New York Red Bulls may have been missing five starters, but it was no
difference as New York defeated the Los Angeles Galaxy, 1-0.
A first half goal by Joel Lindpere and a stellar performance from rookie goalkeeper Ryan Meara
was all the patchwork Red Bulls needed to defeat the defending MLS Cup champions in front of a
sell-out crowd at the Home Depot Center.

CARSON, Calif. -- Alan Gordon scored in stoppage time as the San Jose Earthquakes erased a late
two-goal deficit with three unanswered goals to defeat the Los Angeles Galaxy, 3-2, on Wednesday.
After going down due to goals from Hector Jimenez and Mike Magee, San Jose clawed back as Steven
Lenhart and Khari Stephenson scored before Gordon's dramatic stoppage time winner.
