Throughout the day, the QPR Report Messageboard has news updates,
comments and perspectives - even links to other board comments of interest re QPR matters (on and
off the field) along with football (and ONLY football) topics in general.
As soon as the QPR takeover was announced in the summer, a host of Spurs players were linked
with a move to West London. Ultimately, none of these transfers materialised but it's inevitable to
see further stories emerge as the January transfer window approaches.
Spurs fans will be no stranger to Roman Pavlyuchenko's agent Oleg Artemov who has been very
vocal about his client's next move in recent weeks.
Luis Suarez ensured Liverpool's season did not follow a familiar storyline, but it was another edgy
afternoon at Anfield in a 1-0 victory over QPR.
The Uruguayan scored the only goal of the game when taking advantage of some slack marking to head
the winner just two minutes after half-time.
However, it was far from a perfect afternoon for Kenny Dalglish's team, as the match looked set to
follow a similar pattern to the frustrating stalemates against QPR's fellow newly-promoted sides,
Norwich and Swansea.
Charlie Adam admits he was delighted to see Luis Suarez return to the scoresheet and help Liverpool
return to winning ways with a 1-0 success over Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
The Uruguay striker headed home the only goal of the game - his eighth of the season - early in the
second half at Anfield to help the Reds collect three points and move up to sixth in the Barclays
Premier League table.
Liverpool 1: Suarez 47′QPR 0
Liverpool play well for large spells and endure a late QPR surge to get the result they needed
at Anfield, using the one chance they finished to get all three points. The result's obviously most
important, particularly on the heels of the disappointment at Craven Cottage earlier in the
week.
Liverpool v QPR – Suarez, Barton or Mason to star?
QUEENS PARK RANGERS are the guests at Anfield today and will feel they have a chance of taking
points off Liverpool on their home patch. They'll be well aware that The Reds' record against
newly-promoted sides hasn't been the best in recent times and will also have noted how many sides
have at least left Anfield with a point this season.

A minute's silence was held prior to Melbourne Victory's league fixture vs. Perth Glory this
weekend, after it was announced that Luca Jones, son of Socceroo's goalkeeper Brad Jones
(above), had passed away.
Luca, who was five-years-old, had been battling leukaemia for eighteen months.
Friday night international fixtures: sorry, but seriously? There are certain things in life that
are sacred, and our freedom to plan our entire lives around the period of self-inflicted oblivion
that occurs between the hours of 4pm Friday to about 3am on a Saturday morning is one of them.
Have some respect, FIFA or UEFA or whoeverthehell is in charge.

Maurice Edu celebrated his first Scottish Premier League game in more than two months with an
excellent goal to close Rangers' 4-0 win over Hamilton on Saturday.
Edu entered the game in the 62nd minute and scored 20 minutes later when he took a throw-in on the
right side of the penalty area, took a step to his left and blasted a left-footed shot inside the
near post past goalie Tomas Cerny.
