Twice a year, Phil Gartside lays bare his most inner fears. Bolton Wanderers may some day be
relegated from the Premier League, and Phil doesn't like the idea of that. He is scared that they
will relegated and that they won't be prepared for life back in the Footbal League. He's right to
be.

With an average attendance of 48,750 last season, Newcastle United are the 18th best supported team
in Europe. In England only Manchester United, who top the whole league, and Arsenal manage to beat
Newcastle's average attendance, although Celtic managed 9th and Rangers managed 16th. Given the
mess we were in last season and the fact that there [.

With Rangers getting closer and closer to almost becoming Leeds United, maybe its time for both
Celtic and Rangers to run away from the Scottish Premier League and head for greener pastures.
Rangers 's club's bankers Lloyds are owed £30million by the end of the campaign. With a TV
contract that is nothing to celebrate the only way that they maybe be able to meet the payment is
to sell half of the first team.

Thanks to Dirty Tackle for bringing this to our attention. Watch as Celtic
Captain Stephen McManus sets his teammates a fine example by putting in one of the worst challenges
you will ever see. It's not that the tackle is malicious or indeed particularly violent, its just
so damn matter of factly delivered as if to say "I can't be bothered to chase after you, So I am
just going to chop you down where you stand!

The referee initially only showed McManus a yellow card, but then the assistant ref pulled him
aside and side something to the effect of "Are you serious?

Gordon Strachan has not lost his fan club in the English press if Kevin Mitchell's column in
today's Guardian is anything to go by.His quick wit and popular side career as a pundit have given
birth to a "Cult of Wee Gordon" amongst sections of the English media. His perceived differences to
another famous Scottish manager have helped in this.

That's not how we celebrate in this country! Players and staff from Hamburg were involved in an
angry confrontation after their win at Celtic last night when stewards attempted to cut short their
celebrations. There is a bit of a chicken-and-egg debate about whether Hamburg were sitting down as
part of a new German post-match [.

The above picture depicts what Reuters describes as a "sit-down protest" from Hamburg
after stewards at Celtic Park would not let them celebrate their 1-0 win over the Scottish side
with their traveling fans after the game. Tempers flared among the visiting team when stewards also
wouldn't let them leave the pitch, causing some angry players to sit down near the corner flag as
police moved in.

Tony Mowbray was being as philosophical as ever yesterday when he spoke about being a "performance"
coach. Leave it to others to judge his team on "results."A jolly Corinthian approach for sure but
one that doesn't quite answer his growing band of critics. Results matter and nowhere is that more
keenly felt than in the east end of Glasgow.

Henrik Larsson, the once ageless wonder who'd begun to show plenty of age, has finally decided to
hang up his boots with near immediate effect. Three games remain in a rather pedestrian
Helsignborgs season and three games remain in Henrik's footballing career. Unless he's summoned
back for World Cup 2014 qualifying, of course.

As an indication of what was to come Henrik Larsson's first contribution in a Celtic shirt was
misleading. It was his misplaced that Chic Charnley latched on to score the winning goal for Hibs
in an early season game at Easter Road. That Hibs team would end up relegated while Celtic and
Larsson would collect four league titles, four domestic cups and a UEFA Cup final appearance.
