Onetime Toronto FC target, Aberdeen's winger/striker Jamie Smith is set to sign with Colorado as is Argentine striker Facundo Diz, who has long been rumored to be joining the mile high club.

In addition to signing 30-year-old French defender Julien Baudet, the Rapids — pending any paperwork snafus — will add 30-year-old Argentine striker Facundo Diz, formerly with Atletico Platense, and 28-year-old Scottish winger Jamie Smith, who was last at Aberdeen and played with Rapids assistant Steve Guppy at Celtic.

According to Sports YA! Colorado has purchased an Argentine striker from Argentina's 2nd division named Facundo Diz.
Let's hope he fares a bit better than the Argentine defender whose first name was also Facundo and who now currently plies his trade at Miami FC:

"I'm not a Platense player anymore, I'll play at Colorado Rapids because the offer they made is quite good.

Despite what others may have you believee today is anything but slow in terms of deals being lined up for players coming or leaving MLS. A few rumors are popping around the football world in CONCACAF this lazy summer Sunday.
It would appear that the deal to bring the Honduran attacking midfielder to DC United is pretty much a done deal from the wording in this article today from Honduran news site La Prensa:
