The Philadelphia Union confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that Sebastien Le Toux has been traded to Vancouver.

In return, the club receives an undisclosed amount of allocation money.

Union head coach Peter Nowak said in the announcement, "While this decision wasn't easy, we are confident that the allocation money we receive will provide the flexibility for us to compile the best possible roster for 2012 and beyond.

It has been a busy and confusing few days for Union fans. Kerith Gabriel has an updated story on the Faryd Mondragon, Seba Le Toux and Roger Torres. So with the latest information, here is a quick rundown of where we are at:

The Sounders have lost more players this season than any previous MLS off-season. Although the new CBA hasn't been agreed to yet and there is still voting that needs to take place, the NBA decided to lift that ban and allow teams and players to begin working together.

The following is a breakdown of the rules of the 2012 MLS Expansion Draft, rule-by-rule based upon how each rule affects the Philadelphia Union's protection list choices. The Montreal Impact, a now former North American Soccer League team, will draft 10 players from various MLS teams.

• MLS Clubs may protect 11 players between their On-budget and their Off-budget Roster.

I'm getting this out later than I had planned to, but it seemed like every night when I sat down to write it there was other news that I wanted to get to first and by the time I was done with those I was ready to be done. But now it's time to take a look at the upcoming expansion draft.
First, here are the rules for the expansion draft and how the rules affect Kansas City.

Swedish midfielder Erik Friberg's option will be picked up by the Seattle Sounders. Earlier reports out of Sweden indicated that Friberg and the team extended the contract, more accurately there is an option that the team holds. Today, during a post-season interview with Adrian Hanauer he said the following about the option;

Yesterday, the NBA owners and NBA players made progress toward ending the lockout by negotiating system details. However, the two sides avoided the main sticking point: the basketball related income (BRI) split. Today, that is exactly what will be discussed.

The players, who received 57% of the BRI in the last CBA, want at least 52% this time.

The Philadelphia Union's guaranteed compensation in 2011 is $3,653,981.17, but their salary cap hit is only $2,530,292.54. $144,707 is left over ($2,675,000 cap) for use in 2011, but the season's roster freeze has already happened.

Every dollar under the cap is paid for by MLS, not the Union or any other MLS team.

The MLS drafts are finally over. After over a month of players being picked, picks being declined, picks being traded, and picks being digested, there will be no more MLS drafts until the Montreal Expansion Draft at the end of this year. To recap, we've seen:
