The Los Angeles Lakers need a new point guard. While Derek Fisher is a champion and can still
provide great moments, he's no longer a starting quality point guard in the NBA. The Lakers
admitted that when they attempted to trade for Chris Paul.
The Lakers are rumored to have another target in mind: Ramon Sessions of the Cleveland
Cavaliers.
Baron Davis is getting closer and closer to returning to the NBA. However, his return won't be
this week. Mike D'Antoni on Tuesday said that Davis won't return until next week. Though he hasn't
suffered a setback, D'Antoni says the trainers want Davis to be careful.
Davis missed the entire season with a herniated disk in his back.
Linsanity isn't necessarily over ... but it's at least paused. Jeremy Lin will miss his third
consecutive game due to soreness in his left knee. The New York Knicks are 2-0 in the past two
games. They beat the Milwaukee Bucks 89-80 and the Orlando Magic 108-86.
With Lin out, Baron Davis will start at point guard again for the Knicks.
