Reports emanating from Israel (namely the Ma'ariv newspaper) are claiming that Barcelona's
historic shirt sponsorship deal with the Qatar Foundation is in jeopardy as the Arab organisation
have been accused of forging direct links with Islamic (and, for the record, Palestinian)
terrorist group Hamas.
I've been a fan of the Kansas City Wiz(ards)/Sporting KC since 1996, and I don't think any player
move has affected me as much as Jimmy Conrad leaving to go to Chivas yesterday in the MLS Re-Entry
draft. I knew it was coming just from the way things seemed to be going in the 2010 season. It
started with Conrad losing the captain's armband and just seemed to continue from there.
South East Asia is blessed with two promising goalkeepers, Kawin Thammasatchanan (Muang Thong
United) and Megia Kurnia (Arema). Neither has made an impact on the AFF Cup for different reasons.
Kawin was forced to pull out through injury while Megia plays second fiddle to Markus Horison in
the Indonesia goal.
