Will Spain Finally Win The World Cup?

G4Goal - football (soccer) site for fans who can blog, read news, watch footbal 16 November @ 04:37 PM EST

Ever since I started watching football many years ago now, when it came time for the World Cup, Spain were always considered a dangerous threat by many pundits that they would win the tournament, only to let everyone down time and time again. Spain are likely to have one of the best selling World Cup Jerseys in the tournament, but the best they have finished is 4th place in a World Cup and that was in 1950.

Florentino Pérez debe replantear su estrategia

FutblogMexicano 10 November @ 10:11 PM EST

No recuerdo una derrota más humillante que esta, frente al Alcorcón. No pudo titularse mejor. Es increíble cómo perdieron la eliminatoria a doble partido cerrando en el Bernabéu. Hoy no apareció ese histórico espíritu que les hace ganar con la pura camiseta, como en otras ocasiones. Fue un equipo vulgar.

The Hook Up: Miguel Torres and Patricia Conde?

KICKETTE 10 November @ 12:22 PM EST

There might just be a Kickette brawl, folks. This morning our Spanish amigas from Poprosa alerted us to cougar-on-the-Migi-prowl Patricia Conde and her advances towards our coveted pillow lips. He's 23 – she's 30.

Rumour has it, after being introduced recently by Iker "the evil matchmaker" Casillas, they went shopping (sob) and to the movies.

Video: The last time Atletico won at the Bernabeu

Soccerblog 07 November @ 07:35 AM EST

Atletico have not won at the Bernabeu in 10 years. The last time October 30th, 1999 when Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink with his brace and Jose Mari won a now historic victory. Sergio Aguero was 11 years old.

Hasselbaink was virtually unstoppable and so was Joan Capdevila, now at Villareal.

Rafa Benitez's 10 BEST SIGNINGS for Liverpool FC

Liverpool Kop 07 November @ 06:47 AM EST
Last week I posted what I believed to be Rafa Benitez's 10 biggest transfer blunders. This week, as promised, I take a look at the 10 best signings during the Boss's 5 years in charge. And there have been some absolute corkers!
When you think back to the squad Rafa inherited (Traore, Biscan, et al), it is clear that our squad is now superior in almost every way. Click to continue reading...

Milan show signs of progress

Futbolita 05 November @ 05:00 AM EST

Despite the plethora of Champions League games available to me this week I flicked my sports channel over to the game in Milan to see whether the Milanistas could re-create their spectacular victory in the Bernabeu two weeks ago. And, despite their failure to upset the football betting odds and re-enact their Madrid heroics following 90 scrappy but passionate minutes, there were still signs that they have turned the corner.

Kaka made his glorious return to his old home for Tuesday's Champions League tie between Real Madrid and AC Milan a loser-free lovefest that ended in a 1-1 draw. The San Siro gave their returning hero a warm welcome as both sides had their chances to take three points in the wide open match.

Ya parece burla; golean al Real Madrid

FutblogMexicano 27 October @ 10:37 PM EST

Liverpool Are Much More Than Kust Gerrard And Torres

Anfield Talk 13 October @ 01:24 PM EST
I'm a literal sort of person, and it annoys me when things are so stupidly wrong, and yet people still fall for it blindly, and repeat it as though it is a fundamental truth. Like the idea that Liverpool are a two man team, which is a theory so widespread, it's become gospel.
For a start, how can any side be a two man team? Click to continue reading...

The Hook Up: Iker Casillas and Some Chick

Okay, that's not really fair. She's not just "some chick". She's obviously "some chick that Iker Casillas is happy to be publically photographed holding hands with and kissing." Our twitchy jealous fingers are taking control of the keyboard.

Her name is Ana Isabel (which, by the by, is actually Kickette-short for Ana Isabel Medinabeitia Domínguez), she works as a marketing director for a bank and apparently she's been on the scene since the summer.

La Liga Report 04 October @ 07:32 PM EST

Funny thing happened on the way to the battle of the unbeaten between Barcelona and Real Madrid next month. Someone forgot to tell Sevilla who beat Real 2-1 win at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan tonight.

Without the services of the injured Cristiano Ronaldo, Real seemed to lose its attacking swagger that has carried it so far this season, and instead the attention was focused on Madrid's poor defence.

Cristiano Ronaldo: Everyone Wants a Piece

It would seem that perhaps whatsherface Gallardo isn't quite so crazy/stalktastic as we may have thought.

We all know Cristiano's insane talent, dedication to removing his shirt after matches (whilst shunning the evil that are base layers) and extensive man bag collection make him pretty damn hard to resist.
