For the majority of us mere mortals, it's the season to be jolly and maybe a bit drunk, but for
footballers, Christmas is often the season to go off the rails completely.
The Sunderland duo of Nicklas Bendtner and Lee Cattermole are the latest stars to get up to no
good in the festive period.
Sunderland duo Nicklas Bendtner and Lee Cattermole have been arrested on suspicion of criminal
damage. The incident relates to damaged caused to cars Stowell Street, in Newcastle city centre, on
6 December. The pair, both aged 23, were arrested yesterday before later being bailed. A
Northumbria police spokesman said: "Police can confirm that on 15 [.
Former Manchester United and West Brom midfielder Ronnie Wallwork has been sentenced to 15 months

It is all too easy to get snobby and sneer at footballers about their (usual) lack of a
high-level education. And too often that sneeriness is borne out of nothing but jealousy at the
fact they get paid shed-loads of money for simply playing football. Still, in the case of poor old
Darren Mackie of Aberdeen, it's hard not to giggle.
First and foremost, the apparent landslide of Barca related stuff today is not
intentional, amicis! So let's get moving.... on the wheels of the Blaugranas' new
'cotxes' (cars) of course! Last week, you saw AC Milan receiving the keys
to their brand new rides, and before that, the Real Madrid guys channeled their
Formula 1 alter egos at a go-karting event.
Kickettes, we can't truly explain why this bothers us so (it may be because the only shots we're
allowed to purchase predominantly feature his car), but we can not stand how durrty Gerard Pique's
cars are!
PS we think it's safe to assume that today's outing in Madrid solves our previous
questions.
It was a sad day for the sports world on Sunday. Even though there was NFL football and playoff
baseball to keep fans entertained, that was all overshadowed by Dan Wheldon's death. Dan Wheldon
died on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the last race of the season for IndyCar.
You can see Dan Wheldon pictures at the bottom of this entry.
We don't claim to know a great deal about cars, but we've seen enough episodes of 'Top Gear'
between us to know that you're not supposed to do this to a Bentley.
What on earth could have inspired is this heinous act of vandalism by Manchester City's
Stefan Savic, people?
You would think that David Beckham has now seen it, lived it and done it all. There are Premier
League medals, a European Cup, a plethora of international caps, a film made in his name, an OBE,
soccer schools, flash cars and four beautiful children. So what could possibly be left? Ah that's
it...I bet [.

Nothing more, nothing less just a batch of snaps of the Barcelona squad busily squirreling away
at being better than everybody else at their Joan Gamper 'Sports City' training camp in Sant Joan
Despi...

Untold Arsenal on Twitter @UntoldArsenal By Gordon Haverland, P.Eng. Some of us Arsenal fans have
noticed that Arsenal is using GPS vests in the friendlies this summer (and at least once at Barnet
last year). We may have personal GPS, or GPS built into our cars. How does this help Arsenal?
Can this [.
Great day for SPANISH SPORTS with the victory of Spanish two time F1 World Champion FERNANDO
ALONSO adding the 2011 British F1 GP title at Silverstone. Long time since the driver got back in
the top of the podium as the Spaniard got his first win of the season & finally managed to break
the domination of current World Champ Vettel & the Red Bull cars.
3:10 p.m. Well, ok, we're not actually at the Rose Bowl yet. Luis and I decided to be environmental
and carpool to the game and at this moment, we're stuck in the traffic leading to the stadium
parking lots. People are walking past us at a steady clip, going faster than the molasses pace of
the crowded cars.
Ryan Giggs made his first public appearance on Tuesday night since being revealed as the footballer
covered by a privacy injunction when he played in Gary Neville's testimonial against Juventus at
Old Trafford — hours after journalists' cars were attacked and vandalised outside his house.
A Greater Manchester Police statement said: "Officers attended and discovered at least six cars had
been vandalised after a group of offenders arrived in a Ford Transit van and attacked the vehicles.
I can't help but love this guy. I posted the video where he was nodding his head like one of those
nodding dogs on shelf at the back of cars earlier, but apart from that, for me it's the way he
celebrates at Chelsea too.
Luiz has come to Chelsea not speaking English, half way through the season and has settled right in
at the club and has been fantastic.

911 Turbo. Becks is using part of the $217,100 garnered from the sale of the Porsche for a
new
2011 Chevrolet Camaro.
The V-8 powered Camaro SS, which in the spec Beckham ordered retails for about $55,000, is finished
in a matte gray paint scheme and has been fitted with glossy black wheels and tinted windows and
lights.

Last week, our correspondent, who chooses to remain anonymous, visited Tottenham
Hotspur's training ground based in Chigwell, Essex, to investigate...
It's a brisk Tuesday morning at the entrance to Chigwell. All is silent at eight-thirty, but by
nine the black iron-clad gates that guard the place are awoken.
Having gone down to the second division just two years ago, one would think expectations
surrounding Corinthians to be rather modest. Like anything on a continental level is a bonus.
But having the names and the history and the need to make up for that little faux pas known as
the Brazilian Serie B, modesty is not on order.
New Liverpool FC record signing Andy Carroll mobbed as he arrives at Melwood (GALLERY) - News -
Liverpool FC - Liverpool Echo This is such a classic image. The thumbs up to the mob outside the
car - and Lord knows Carroll has had trouble with mobs and his cars before. The lawyer/agent/suit

FC Tampa Bay announced on Wednesday that they will be playing the next two seasons at Al Lang

In a week that has seen the Christian festival of Epiphany come and pass, the world was
reminded of the day that three very wise men from the East came and paid homage to an even more
special baby boy.
Theology aside, the similarities bestowing the football world to this most sacred of Christian
holidays can be drawn.
This January Camp roster has several standout facts - an average age of just over 23 years old,
half the players looking to earn their first cap, two players from the state of Oklahama (we're
pretty sure that's never happened) - and there's also an unusually large number of locals. By that,
we mean those who drove themselves to work.
