Houston made it official announcing the signing of a loan deal for 29 year old Honduran forward Carlo Costly from Atlas in Mexico.

The Mexican Federation announced the 20-player roster for the match on Aug. 10 against Mexico, and if there was any thought that they would be taking an easy approach after the Gold Cup, think again. Minus the injured Javier Hernandez, the Mexicans have all the players who started in their victory in the Gold Cup final, including goalscorers Pablo Barrera, Andres Guardado and Giovani dos Santos.

Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez won't be participating in the United States' friendly with Mexico next week, but his trio of offensive teammates that did most of the damage in Mexico's Gold Cup final victory most certainly will.

Giovani Dos Santos, Andres Guardado and Pablo Barrera will all represent El Tri in Philadelphia next week, along with New York Red Bulls centerback Rafa Marquez and four of the five players who were suspended from the Gold Cup for testing positive for banned substance clenbuterol.
