A friendly between Uruguayan clubs Paysandu and Cameta turned not so friendly (see what I did
there?) when defender Carlos Eduardo decided to play a little prank on the linesman. While
Eduardo's Paysandu teammate was being stretchered off the pitch, he went up to the linesman and, in
his own words:

Brazil and England was going to be a reserve festival, as injuries took away many players from
the match. So if in theory this is a match with no favorites, in reality, Brazil got that title as
it had less players in the ER. Brazil had the responsibility to play better and add another match
to the unbeaten streak against England that is 19 years-old.

Liverpool's defender Fábio Aurélio was handed the chance of winning a place in Brazil's World Cup
squad yesterday when he was named for next month's friendlies against England in Doha and Oman in
Muscat.
The coach, Carlos Dunga, has named a 24-man squad made up of Europe-based players in order not to
disrupt Brazilian clubs in the run-in to their championship.

Dunga announced today the players who will play the last 2 matches of the year (against England
and Oman). And he had a few surprises. Given that he decided not to call players from Brazilian
clubs (and therefore was unable to call Adriano and Diego Tardelli), he called forward Hulk. But he
wasn't the only surprise.
