Italian goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini has joined Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer after 10 years at
Stamford Bridge. Here's a first look at the former Chelsea keeper in the Tottenham goalie strip.
The 35-year-old was once voted the best goalkeeper in England but has been second choice to Petr
Cech for the last five years.
Can be a very useful asset at White Hart Lane. Luka Modric was spectacular last night, again
looking worth every penny of that £16.5m we paid. He looks a lot more effective at the Lane
where he probably gets more time on the ball and more freedom but there are no two ways about it,
he's quality.
Obviously, Stoke at home is a game we should be winning comfortably but considering the position we
are in currently, the pressure on the players last night was huge.
The latest news on the transfer window comings and goings in the English Premier League: Spurs
continue to be busy and sign Carlo Cudicini from Chelsea and Pascal Chimbonda from Sunderland.
A few more slightly interesting transfers happening in the Premier League again today, with Spurs
already having signed Carlo Cudicini they have also gone back to former employee Pascal Chimbonda
in a rather surprising move. Seems to be one step forward and one step back at White Hart Lane,
really don't see why they would [.
Tottenham announced today that they have successfully signed both Pascal Chimbonda, and Carlo
Cudicini from Sunderland and Chelsea. In Chimbonda's case I guess he really missed White Hart Lane
because he just left only 6 months ago and now he's back. For Cudicini, he was most likely brought
in to challenge Gomes for some playing time seeing how Gomes has been in awful form for what seems
like forever.
One of the last remnants of the pre-Roman era of Chelsea has finally moved on.
Goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini agreed a move today to Tottenham on a free transfer. It was a move
that many of us assumed would happen each season for the past three. However, it never did as
Carlo's loyatly to the Blues continued to shine.
