- He's 52-years-old and hails from Italy, was unceremoniously sacked from Chelsea after winning
the double and his personal life rivals a good daytime soap opera. But we still love us some Carlo
Ancelotti, despite his new unidentified Jerry Hall look-alike-from-afar new gal pal that he was
papped all around Venice with.
So much promise....
At some point you just have to feel sorry for a coach.... regardless of team affiliation. The
execution time is quickly approaching with bated breath and grim reaper fingerprints. This is the
time where Roman Abramovich gets itchy on the trigger finger, picks up a cell phone from Moscow and
calls the front office of Chelsea Football Club to let them know that Chelsea will no longer be
requiring the service of Andre Villas-Boas.
If someone asked you about Carlo Ancelotti and his managerial style you would think of his time
here in his first season winning the double, his time at AC Milan and the relationships he built
with "his players".
Renowned for getting the maximum out of ageing players, Ancelotti was always one to stand up for
the old guard and defend them to the hilt especially when he was here for two seasons.
Former Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti has come to the defense of his successor Andres
Villas-Boas. Ancelotti who believes Villas-Boas needs to be given more time, identified Chelsea's
current run of poor form is due to the oldness of the players.
The truth of the matter is that though most players might be past their prime, Chelsea were a
bit too ambitious when they signed the 34 year old Porto FC coach.
Hi everyone,
It has been clearly seen that Roman Abramovich is starving for titles and does everything possible
to dominate England and Europe. However, things have not been going the way he wishes. Unlike some
other clubs, finance is one of the least of worries that the owner has, thanks to his outside
business which does not make him shy to spend almost unlimited amount of money with the club.
It's official, Anelka and Alex will be leaving Chelsea in January. The Duo have become srplus to
needs at Stamford Bridge and Coach Villas-Boas has confirmed that the club had received their
offers to leave the club in January.
I would not quite call this a loss for Chelsea, but rather a step in the right direction as both
players are indeed past their prime.
Man City & Chelsea's Champions League hopes hang in the balance, as Ajax faces Real Madrid
juggernaut - originally posted on Soccerlens.com
The last round of the Champions League group stages sees a number of mouthwatering and do-or-die
ties. If you're going to be betting on football, you should be very careful where you put your
money.
Former Chelsea Coach Carlo Ancelotti believes that English sides Arsenal and Chelsea will
struggle against Italian opponents AC Milan and Napoli. The 52 year old further went on to say that
state of the game in England is 'unwell'.
These are very interesting remarks coming from a coach who helped led the Blues to the Premier
League title in 2009/2010.
The winter break is now upon us which means no Serie A action until January 8. What will we do now?
However, during this time there is at least one enticing encounter to look forward to; the 2012
Dubai Football Challenge which will see Milan take on Paris Saint-Germain. It is a match that will

Jamie Trecker of Fox Soccer traveled to London and sat down for a video interview with Clint
Dempsey.
-There really isn't anything new here for us diehards, but its great to see the words come out of
Clint's mouth. What a talent!
-More great stuff with Clint and members of his family.
It's past Christmas and we are two rounds of matches away from being at the halfway point of the
season. At the beginning of January in 2011, during the previous campaign, Chelsea were outside the
top 4 they were in the middle of a disastrous spell under Carlo Ancelotti whilst Manchester United
were top and comfortably clear of Manchester City in second.
Florent Malouda isn't happy with his current bit-part role at Chelsea. He's ready to reevaluate
life in London, and apparently is weighing potential moves should his ambition not be met.
Is any of this shocking? Not really.
Not of the avant-garde
Malouda spoke of recent frustration with his lack of match time after Monday's 1-1 draw with
Fulham.
Reports linking Milan striker Alexandre Pato have been gaining pace in the last week. The player
himself has expressed his discontent with Max Allegri and it has been rumoured that Paris
Saint-Germain have offered €50 million for his services – with the deal already agreed in
principle between the two clubs.

Not having the amount of playing time which he would've wanted apparently bring a little
disappointment for Chelsea's Florent Malouda, who revealed that he still have strong desire to have
a much more important role that what his having at the moment.
The French international went on "threatening" to leave the club if nothing is changing pretty
soon as he does have several offers coming even in this upcoming winter transfer market.
Carlo Ancelotti is set to take over as PSG coach after he was flown into the French capital to
discuss a possible deal that would see him coach the mega rich Ligue 1 side.
The former AC Milan and Chelsea coach was among the people considered for the top job after
reports arose claiming that current coach Antoine Kombouare was dismssed.
FC Porto forward Hulk has once again been linked with a move to London club Chelsea. However
with Kaka and Krasic in the market, his chances of joining the Blues are getting slimmer and
slimmer everyday.
Villas-Boas who knows Hulk from his days as Coach of Porto is known to be a great admirer of the
Brazilian forward, however, with a buyout clause of $130 million dollars, and Chelsea's growing
debt, Hulk is out of reach for even Abramovich's billions.

Although Thierry Henry's recent stint at Arsenal was technically just for training, rumors
continue to swirl that Arsene Wenger is considering offering the former Arsenal striker a
short-term contract. Some reports stipulate that a two-month loan has already been offered to the
New York Red Bulls forward.

I did not want to believe it at first, but it seems like the rumours about AC Milan striker
Alexander Pato joining French Club PSG are true. I am a big of the 22 year old Brazilian striker
and feel that Milan would be making a big mistake if they let him go.
To be honest, i feel that if something is not done immediately about Allegri's coaching tactics,
then even more stars will end up leaving the club.
It's common knowledge that firstly,
Alex handed in a transfer request that has been accepted by
Chelsea and he is expected to leave next month. Secondly,
Florent Malouda has spoken out
about leaving the club if he doesn't play more football and finally, Carlo Ancelotti will be named
the new PSG manager this afternoon.

Most reports have been making David Beckham's signing with Paris-St. Germain a matter of "when"
and not "if," but PSG sporting director Leonardo offered a far less convincing take on the
potential signing on Friday.
At a press conference where the club introduced Carlo Ancelotti as the club's new coach,
Leonardo told reporters that Beckham's move to Paris was "not done yet, and it might not
happen.
48 year old Antoine Kombouare must feel hard done by after being replaced by former Chelsea and
AC Milan supremo Carlo Ancelotti at PSG despite guiding them to the top of the French League before
their winter break.
Kombouare served his club for two years but despite relative success the ambitious Qatari owners
deemed him not a big enough name to guide their club to success and instead replacing him with
Ancelotti.

Barbara Berlusconi – daughter of disgraced former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi,
member of Milan's board of directors, and Alexandre Pato's girlfriend – has been the subject of
much speculation as of late, with many gossip magazines claiming the beautiful blonde is carrying
Pato's child.
WEEKEND WRAP
Carlo Ancelotti had been jobless for the last seven months, watching reruns of
'The Sopranos' and your aunt's episodes of Coronation Street up until yesterday. Ouiiiii, ce
n'est pas une blague... Paris Saint Germain officially decided he was the man
to take over the reins of former coach Antoine Kombouaré, who failed to transform
the Qatari-owned club into the new Ligue 1 Galácticos!

Let's not beat around the bush here and let's tell it like it is. We've seen two managers, drama,
controversy, speculation, excitement, frustration and find ourselves at the turn of this year in
the exact same position as we did a year ago. Isn't it strange how things have turned out!
This is my review of 2011 and a year on my blog as written by me, a lifelong Chelsea fan giving you
my take on everything that happened.
