Wycombe's Jon-Paul Pittman, who was born in the United States, shocked Premier League champions
Chelsea with a second half hat-trick in a span of four minutes. Pittman, a former Aston Villa youth

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti have been put on red
alerts after Inter Milan forward Mario Balotelli's future was thrown into doubt following an
outburst by his Cameroonian teammate Samuel Eto'o.
With a chance to extend our lead to four points at the KC Stadium last night we blew it with some
sloppy defending from a set piece once more.
We still took an additional point last night to extend the lead over United to 2 points but we all
know it could of been and should of been so much more!
If I hadn't read it in the Guardian I would have just laughed, but they have made a serious
accusation against Arsene Wenger. They reckon that the Arsenal manager said after his team's win at
Portsmouth on Wednesday that Chelsea and and Carlo Ancelotti "will drop points and steadily implode
over the remainder of the season [.
When Landon Donovan set out on his three-month loan stint from the Los Angeles Galaxy to Everton FC
back in January, many fans of the USMNT were worried that he might have a target on his back when
matching up against some of the English players that he is likely to face in the World Cup this
June. As it turns out, it was Donovan who cast the first injury stone, knocking out England's
starting left-back Ashley Cole for three months with a broken ankle.
We all know that Joe Cole hasn't recovered his form as yet for Chelsea since his return from the
knee injury that ruined his season at Southend last year, so much so that he has not featured in
the England set up since he has come back. Yesterday Fabio Capello made it clear to Joe that he's
got some work to do but hasn't shut the door.

After a long, hot summer filled with plenty of football, we now stand between what's left of the
work week before the Premier League returns with guns blazing, before Arsenal look like world

your least favorite post, Premier League Footballer of the Week returns with an unabashed

Trust Chelsea eh?. For those of you who have followed the Chels your whole lives and have
"blue-blood" it will come as no surprise that we let another one slip yesterday and blew another
chance to extend our lead at the top of the Premier League.
As per my match preview I could see the game would be difficult as it always is against David
Moyes' well organised and disciplined side.
The Kings Road in London has always been renowned as one of the capital's classiest places to
live. Unfortunately right now the football team that inhabit that area, have in their mitts
individuals that lack even an inch of class.
Ok so footballers have never been angels, from George Best's drinking and womanising of the
sixties right up to the alleged incidents of today involving Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney.
Chelsea returns to London to try and turn around a 2-1 deficit from the first leg. Otherwise
former boss Jose Mourinho will be victorious and will surly rub it in everyone's faces.
Carlo Ancelotti will be missing Michael Essien (knee), Ashley Cole (ankle), Jose Bosingwa
(knee), Petr Cech (calf) and Hilario (groin) but will welcome the return of Ricardo Carvalho (one
of Mourinho's first signings as Chelsea manager) to the squad.
Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho has taken a veiled swipe at the current standard of the Premier
League as he ran the rule over the achievements of Carlo Ancelotti in his first season in charge of
Chelsea. The Italian coach saw his Stamford Bridge outfit secure their first Double when they beat
Portsmouth on Saturday at Wembley; a feat that not even the ‘Special One' achieved despite his
considerable success in England.

According to the ticking news machine that is Sky Sports News, some bookies have stopped taking
bets on Fernando Torres joining Chelsea. Interesting the bookies usually know
what's what.
I should add that no other news outlet has reported this, so I wonder if this story comes from a
work experience boy at Sky whose mate works for Paddy Power.
"It was a complicated and difficult decision. I'm staying at Santos and I'm very happy here and
now I'm focused to win more titles. "Money doesn't just bring us happiness."

Real Madrid is already a dominate team in La Liga but despite having already crushed through a
number of teams, except Barcelona of course, they have done this without the services of Kaka.
Although Jose Mourinho has stated that he is looking forward to seeing Kaka take the pitch with
the team he has been building, Jorge Valdano looks like he has other plans for the 28-year old.

It seems that somehow the identity of the brothel visiting Premier League manager has somehow
remained a secret but it does appear some managers are emerging as front runners in the sleaze race
and the name mentioned most often in chatrooms and other hugely scientific places, appears to be a
certain Avram Grant (although we are not stating that this means he is the guilty party).

Carlo Ancelotti looks to bring youth to his ageing Stamford Bridge side.
I was reading that Florent Malouda has paid tribute and thanked Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti for
his guidance at the club. He said:
"Ancelotti has allowed me to reach a new level. He gave me responsibility and I believe
he has appreciated me. I had some frank talks with him and that's how a special relationship was
born.
Premier League - Malouda fit for Liverpool trip - Yahoo! Eurosport Chelsea's top scorer Florent
Malouda will be fit to face Liverpool this weekend despite manager Carlo Ancelotti claiming on
Thursday that he was injured. The Italian backtracked from his earlier analysis on Friday, in which
he said the ankle injury sustained in the win over Blackburn last week would keep the Frenchman
sidelined.
So where does this leave Arsenal's season? In truth, the Arsenal of 2010 have all of the same
deficiencies as the sides that have come up short in the last few years and the manager has to take
his share of the blame for those failings.
They may only be six points behind Chelsea as we speak, but it feels as if the gap is so much
bigger and it may be that the biggest mistake Wenger made this season was not taking heed of the
scale of the hiding Carlo Ancelotti's men gave his troops a couple of months back.

The Spanish giants bowed out of the Champions League in the first knockout round for the sixth

How would you feel if you were Roman Abramovich after this evening's Champions League match

reportedly a show of player power the likes of which the English game had seldom seen before.
Mourinho, however, has never quite gone away.

Branislav Ivanovic ruled out for a month, leaving them without both first-choice right backs. After
crashing out of the Champions League and drawing with Blackburn, Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti
could have done without another headache — but Ivanovic has torn a knee ligament.
It looks as though Carlo Ancelotti has been Michael Essien's infamous calculator, with him
making an odd claim about how many points will win the league in England.
"I like statistics and I think that, in the past, with 86 points every team has won the
title. I think that we need to get 86 points to win.
