Crystal Palace came to Old Trafford tonight as under-dogs and left as hero's as they beat Manchester United 2-1 after extra-time in the quarter finals of the Carling Cup. A big mention must go to former Palace striker and now manager Dougie Freeman who's inspired second-half substitutions of Darren Ambrose and Glenn Murray came up with the goods as Ambrose scored a 35 yard stunner before setting up Murray for the winner 9 minutes into the first period of extra time.
