The Houston Dynamo did not make any trades in today's MLS SuperDraft. Brian Ching is still will Montreal and Andre Hainault is still here, so all that unnecessary hullabaloo caused by a certain Chronicle writer was for naught. Instead the Dynamo added two new players, selecting forward Colin Rolfe and midfielder Warren Creavalle.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Colin Rolfe's one-man show has Louisville on the cusp of a return to the College Cup.

Rolfe, Louisville's leading scorer and last year's Hermann Trophy finalist, took apart Maryland's back line with a goal and three assists in leading the Cardinals to a 4-2 victory in the NCAA Tournament Round of 16 at Ludwig Field Sunday night.

University of Louisville striker Colin Rolfe was one of the top attacking players in college soccer last fall, and is expected to be the focal point of the Cardinals attack in 2011.

That is if he doesn't head to Europe first.

Sources tell SBI that Rolfe has garnered significant interest from Norwegian first-division side Fredrikstad after impressing during a week-long training stint with the club earlier this month.

The Columbus Crew announced the signing of Louisville forward Aaron Horton on Tuesday, marking the first time the club has ever signed a Homegrown Player.

Having spent just one season at Louisville, Horton was able to sign with Columbus as a Home Grown Player as he was a member of the Crew's 2010 USL Super 20s National Championship team last summer, where he was named tournamenet MVP.
