13.10.2012 - Encaminada hacia su tercera clasificación mundialista (entró en 2002 y 2006), entre alguna irregularidad, la selección ecuatoriana muestra contundencia y, sobre todo, buen clima puertas adentro.
Manteniendo puntaje ideal como local, luego de vencer claramente (3-1) a Chile (que nunca ganó en Ecuador) y optimistas para ir a buscar la victoria en Caracas (vs Venezuela), el plantel se reunió en la casa de su selección para (recibir familiares) y posar en la foto oficial.
Se han sorteado por la mañana los grupos para disputar la Copa Libertadores Femenina 2012.
La mayor sorpresa fue que las actuales campeonas del certamen, São José de Brasil, quedaron en el mismo grupo que Boca Juniors, por lo que habrá una edición más del Clásico sudamericano.
