Charlie Davies has been released from the hospital and is progressing well in his recovery since a terrible car accident in October. The American striker was on the rise after proving himself in Europe, scoring consistently for the USA National Team, and contributing for Sochaux in Ligue 1. He suffered significant injuries from the car crash and most figured a recovery in time for next summer's World Cup Finals unrealistic.
