This is Cobi Jones looking crazy as all get out. Feel free to write your own caption.
I'm not sure there's so much as a quoted caption as a scenario here. Ronaldinho looks like he
just lost his whole family to a murderous cartel and Zlatan is pondering straight-to-DVD revenge
with a dramatic look into the distance perfected by every action star imaginable.
Luckily, since I'm fresh out of ideas for a caption, we do have a guest celebrity captionist
with us today.

I saw this picture on the Springfield Missouri Soccer site this morning and immediately wanted to
post it:
The photo inexplicably accompanied a post which contained the first two results in the round robin
"Lebanon Central Bank Tournament", which apparently involves teams of high school girls.

Jetski and I hit the town last night to celebrate Brazilian football culture with Nike!
It was a great time for all as the Los Angeles footballing community was brought together for a
truly Brazilian football experience. It all started off on the roof of the Ricardo Montelban
theatre with drinks, Brazilian music, dancers and some Capoeira.
Welcome to another update on the Club vs Country war, this time about a battle taking place in

The friendly that will see the newly-minted World Champions face El Tri to commemorate México's
Bicentenary is scheduled for August 11, and tickets have already gone on sale.
It is wonderful to see Fernando Torres scoring goals again, as I'm sure Liverpool fans will
agree, and that's what we got to see yesterday as La Roja managed a convincing win over
Liechtenstein for their first qualifying match for Euro 2012.

I recently discovered the twitter profile of Fabregas, at least I think it's the real deal. I'm
not very familiar with twitter so can't claim to be sure but you can judge for yourself.
Like most of us, Cesc was quite happy with the win at Spuds,
It feels good ....Great performance!
LONDON, England Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa has travelled to London after receiving an
invitation to train with Premier League side Fulham. Ochoa was in Mexico's World Cup squad, but
played second fiddle to the 37-year-old Oscar Perez. Now, the Club America goalkeeper could be set
to earn himself a contract with the Cottagers, who [.
Lookie lookie look what's back! The reason the last one died away was simply a matter of time
and me not having any, so, for the foreseeable future, while that isn't a problem, I'm bringing it
back.
For those of you who weren't around in the LadyArse Picture Competition early days, this is how it

Cheryl looking fantastic!
After numerous cock ups over the last couple of years you start to wonder how dumb some
footballers can be. Ashley Cole and one of his Chelsea teammates are among the least intelligent we
can think of. That's for another post though, let's stick to Ashley for now.
After getting caught sending naked pics of himself to some some skanky lingerie model you start
to wonder if this guy is dumb or is he just so miserable at home that he is starving for some
love.
The back cover that has sparked massive debate on the pages of this blog have now been found in
the Nation's most recognized newspaper.
The Red Bulletin, featuring the now infamous "100 Rumors, 50 Names, 1 Star" headline, was added
as an insert to the paper's most popular edition, The Sunday Times.
The best caption for what Nigel de Jong did to Xabi Alonso.According to CaptainArsenal " I think I
heard DeJong yell "This... Is... Sparta!!!" as he kung fu kicked Alonso on that last foul. Smh,
that's a red"
Or perhaps it's his best impression of an ostrich? A very pleased ostrich? Which begs the
question: what the hell would an ostrich say?
That's not a caption, just a (very) loose lineage of thought. Have at your own below.
"Caption Competion: Chicharito and Alan Smith" was originally published at
The Republik of Mancunia.
MOSCOW, Russia- Former Soviet international goalkeeper , who later turned to television
commentating, died on Sunday after suffering a stroke last week. He was 74. He died on the last day
of the Russian Premier League season and most teams held a minute's silence in his memory. The
Ukraine-born Maslachenko made his name playing for [.
VANCOUVER, BC — It was a dream-come-true for two Vancouver Whitecaps players but a nightmare for
three others. The Major League Soccer-bound Caps rewarded central midfielder Terry Dunfield and
centre back Greg Janicki with MLS contracts Friday but released goalkeeper Simon Thomas and
defenders Willis Forko and Luca Bellisomo.
See, I was going to put a caption that said "Not Kanye West" but in Greek lettering. But then I
realized that The Gimp does not recognize the Greek alphabet so I couldn't do it. And as for why
Eddie Johnson appears to be in Kanye West video I have no idea. Maybe he went to hip hop fantasy
camp or something.
Club Tropicana, drinks are free...
The official PA caption for this photograph reads: "England's John Barnes and Gary Lineker top
up their tans by the pool after training."
Hmmm. I think it's safe to say that JB's tan was fairly well topped-up already. And note the
bandage on Lineker's left forearm, an iconic accessory that instantly brings memories flooding back
of his poacher's hat-trick against Poland in the group stage, a match England had to win to
progress.
Every news story to come from the actual games will likely come second to anything involving
Togo, as it should. So easily the second biggest of the CAN's second day is the thrashing Malawi
gave Algeria, proving World Cup participation means nothing. But on the grander scale, the game
itself may mean nothing compared to the gate.
You never kick a ball like that. The posture is all wrong. Get some welly behind it and stop the
mincing. That's what the caption to this photo of Fabio Capello should have said but didn't. No
wonder he needs a new kneecap.
One Mirror Football panellist wants fans to get as much respect as "sponsors, VIPS, marketing and
media partners" in 2010.
Certainly the Reds are the butts of a lot of one-liners these days. And I'm OK with that.
Footy Factor provided the cartoon and caption to this one:
Breaking News: The players from Liverpool FC visited the local
Children's Hospital in Liverpool .
What's wrong with this picture above? Read the caption to see how BBC Sport accidentally erased
Everton's impressive 3-1 victory against Manchester United on Saturday. Since the BBC is based in
The Old Smoke, maybe it's a London bias against teams from Merseyside?
Thanks to reader Griff for the news tip.
After the Welling match I stayed in the area to visit some of Mrs Nedveds's relatives in Kent. On
the way back home on the train the next day I decided to try and write a letter to the Bath
Chronicle to encourage more Bathonians to turn out to City matches.
I was feeling pretty pumped up after the Welling victory.
To some Jim Brennan was the last remaining link of the Toronto FC expansion era. Today is pretty
much a new day in Toronto for the Reds. Brennan is now an assistant in the front office to Mo
Johnston and Dwayne De Rosario is now the new caption of the club.
Brennan was the first guy to sign with Toronto before their inaugural season.
Anyone care to take a stab at a caption for this? It's a photo from the Champions of Gaming event I
went to the other night in Manhattan that was sponsored by EA Sports and Gillette. I've left it
blank as I was hoping someone out there in TORland could inspire me...any thoughts?
"CAPPED!" is a new weekly feature here on The Yorkies where we want you to give us your
best caption under the picture of the week. Can you out-quip our resident captionist?
What's the prize for the weekly winner you ask?... Absolutely nothing (what are we a 50/50 draw?)
However, you will be announced as the wittiest supporter of the week and can tell all your friends
who won't have any idea what you are on about.
It's been a busy few days for the members of Group B, with the main headline for readers of this
blog (and casual passers-by - geia sas) undoubtedly Otto Rehhagel's announcement of the foreign
players that will form part of his preliminary 30-man squad for South Africa.[caption

The Eco Friendly Sneaker Packaging
I am not a big fan of Puma sneakers unless you go way back. I am strangely into packaging
though, don't ask.
Anyway Puma has come up with new eco friendly sneaker packaging. With the collaboration between
Puma and industrial designer Vves Behar they have created a more sustainable packaging on Puma
sneakers.
Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has criticized his own club for the small time poster they
put up around the City after they secured his signature.
The poster featured a picture of Tevez (ironically celebrating a goal for Manchester United
against Wigan) with the caption, 'Welcome to Manchester'.
Welcome back to The Yorkies weekly "Caption It" game CAPPED! Once again we are looking for the
week's wittiest supporter and someone to challenge the current holder - last week's winner...
"Tuffy". His twistedly funny yet surreal comment was:
"Yeah..... I really like this
Chad kid.... I bet he'll win the golden boot.
So I was hard at work at 'the field of dreams' in Beverly Hills when I was all of a sudden
interrupted by a Nike camera crew with an invite for the Brazil Black Pack launch at the Montalban
Theater in Hollywood next week!
I say interrupted... it was more like an awesome surprise to have a Brazilian girl with Carlos
Valderama-esque hair invite me to this party.
What about our young gladiators ?
Running around on the pitch, training hard for three hours a day (!) and then getting
photographed coming out of a club looking bleary eyed with a WAG or two on your arm.
Or not.
Supermodels or just models, flash cars, oversized watches, bling, suits, clothes, shoes the
lot.
We received over 20 captions for the picture above this, and most of them were hilarious to
read! Once again, we're letting you guys vote on our top four captions shown below! All you have to
do is go on our Facebook page and have your say on whether Cathal, Josh, Chris, or Anton has the
best caption under our post about the captions!
I saw this picture on the Springfield Missouri Soccer site this morning and immediately wanted to
post it:
The photo inexplicably accompanied a post which contained the first two results in the round robin
"Lebanon Central Bank Tournament", which apparently involves teams of high school girls.
We're happy to announce that Josh is the winner of the first week, beating out top-class entries
from Anton, Cathal, and Chris. Josh will get an official World Cup
scarf!
So it's time for week three! The rules are the same. The person with the caption of the
highest class (most creative, funny, etc.
I know I am asking for trouble by letting politics into the blog . . . but this picture is
screaming for a caption.
Bill Clinton joined Juan Pablo Angel, Seth Stammler and Chris Albright at FC
Harlem's home for a GOUSA event supporting the countries bid for the 2018/2022 World Cups
respectively.
