Spurs midfielder Mousa Dembele has effectively let his side's team news out of the bag ahead of tonight's crunch clash with Chelsea thanks to an Instagram photo. The Belgian was subbed off during his side's win over Southampton on Saturday, but the suggestion was that he would recover from his muscle problem ahead of this [.
Photo fraud QPR and Joey Barton have released a statement rejecting suggestions that he is a member
of far-right group the English Defence League. A photo of Barton posing with EDL leader Tommy
Robinson (aka Stephen Yaxley Lennon) appeared on the EDL Support Group Facebook page accompanied by
the caption: "Joey Barton joins the EDL.
Devin is busy working on a piece centered upon these two super secret signings we are apparently
going to make this week. Meanwhile, I'm pulling out more cutting edge, thought-provoking stuff like
captioning the absurdly good image above. This is what I do, people.
The Philadelphia Union, specifically midfielder Justin Mapp, are included, today, in one of
Cracked.com's "Top" list articles.
Mapp, along with a fallen Danny Mwanga and two DC United players, is shown playing a ball
forward in the picture within the article "The 6 Weirdest Free Speech Issues Around The World" on
Cracked.

But what's really happening is they're holding hands, the big brother leading his (tiny) little
brother in the same direction.
I saw this photograph this afternoon and knew without a doubt it deserved a quality caption. So
Dynamo fans, do your best (or worst)...and don't get too carried away please.
Manchester United were the guests at Anfield on Sunday afternoon and on the whole both fans and staff helped Liverpool in their pre match releasing of balloons, giving of flowers and showing of mosaics.
Manchester United were the guests at Anfield on Sunday afternoon and on the whole both fans and staff helped Liverpool in their pre match releasing of balloons, giving of flowers and showing of mosaics.
The lead-up to Monday's top of the table showdown between Man City and Man United was inflated
by a number of erroneous and ridiculous claims of the match being a "title decider,"Â comparableÂ
to the Super Bowl and that the 650-million person global reach of the match's broadcast was
actually the estimated viewership.
Massachusetts Channel 5 News very nearly got their caption right (a damn sight closer
than ESPN managed the other day) for Berba's post-game interview, bless their little hearts for
trying...
We can't help but notice that they've also spelt 'swastika' wrong.
Do you shoot photos of anything related to local soccer? Would you like to show them off?
Share your photos via PSP's Flickr stream, and PSP may feature your work on the main site. We'll
credit you as photographer and link to your work.
PSP is always looking for local soccer photos, whether of youth or high school soccer, local
pickup leagues, soccer pubs, Philadelphia Union or the various other teams stretching from Cape May
out to Reading and Harrisburg.
What do we have here? Why, it's a gaggle of photos of the England chaps training at the Vasil
Levski Stadium in Sofia ahead of their Euro 2012 qualifier against Bulgaria
tonight...
Close eyes > hope for the best
Who knew the Suga Puffs Honey Monster was Bulgaria's national emblem?
This home in Germany certainly wins an award for patriotism, though the design gurus and
neighborhood council will look upon it with nothing short of derision. The homeowner's name is
Dennis Rheinhardt. He's presumably single, though "family" is noted in the caption. (Can't be
true.
Arsenal 'keeper Wojciech Szczesny tried to pick up a girl on Twitter recently a girl by the name
of Letesha Collins, an 'aspiring glamour model' who currently makes her living as a presenter for
adult nudey rudey channel Elite TV and whose work clothes consist of little more than a smile on
occasion.

gunpoint. Image via Bafe's facebook page.
If you're going to post images of yourself on popular social networking sites, it's best you
don't accompany each picture with the caption 'Look Of The Day'.
Justin Bieber is in Britain for something or other. Girls everywhere are crying. Meanwhile, the
singer turned rapper took some time out from making said girls sob incessantly by hauling his
4-year-old girlfriend, Selena Gomez, to Stamford Bridge for a private tour.
Somebody on the Czech physio team is a just little too enamored with Christopher Nolan. Or maybe
he loves Tim Burton. I vote for Tim Burton.
Where does he get those wonderful toys?
For those too young to remember, my caption is an homage to the original Batman film, directed
by Burton and starring the greatest Dark Knight, Michael Keaton.
The well-named Czech club had an apt party last week for....well, the caption of one explains it
best:

Just as Del Bosque refuses to make changes to his squad selection, Spain refuses to make changes
to the script of all its competitive matches since the World Cup: tidy, if uninspired, wins against
the Czech Republic and Scotland sealed a perfect qualifying round for the Euro 2012.

MANCHESTER, England Manchester City have swooped to snatch Celta Vigo starlet Denis Suarez from

David Beckham looked extremely honoured when he met boxing legend Muhammad Ali during
last weekend's 70th birthday celebrations at the Power of Love Gala in Las Vegas along with a whole
host of celebrities.
Beckham posted a pic of the unforgettable moment on his Facebook page.
It has been almost a year since SBI's last installment of You Write the Caption, and that one
came after a two-year hiatus for one of the site's original and most popular series. We plan on
changing that after feedback from readers who told us we should bring the series back.
For those of you unfamiliar, You Write the Caption is when we post a funny photo and allow our
readers to take their cracks at writing a caption to go with the photo.
The excitement is building for the 2012 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament and the
Canadian Soccer Association has been busy promoting the eight-team competition. The CSA is
featuring two U.S. players with strong northwest ties -- Seattle resident Hope Solo and former
Portland Pilot star Megan Rapinoe -- as part of an advertising campaign titled "Made for This.
First, no, I did not watch NBC's new show "Are You There Chelsea," but someone I follow on
FaceBook did watch it and she posted this screen capture, & in her defense, her caption was: "This
stupid ass show got interesting."
Thanks to all that took part in the recent competition to win a Spurs COYS shirt courtesy of
COYStheshirt. There were some good entries, and some strange ones, but the winning caption to the
picture of Redknapp and Wenger was from Nevbrand with this:
HR - 'Don't get so cross, - I only wanted to talk about the problems we had with Young
Boys'
Nevbrand wins a COYS shirt in a colour and size of their choice.
Old friend Eddie Johnson's had a spot of bother. Never mind that though I like the caption
above: "local soccer pro Eddie Johnson kicks a soccer ball".  Which is a) delightfully
descriptive, b) not necessarily correct (he's heading it, isn't he?) and c) just nice anyway. It
would be good if all football photos had such captions.
When the New York Red Bulls sent striker Dwayne De Rosario packing to Eastern Conference rivals
D.C. United the early season United caption, Dax McCarty, had this to say: "They made the move;
they...

Upon hearing the news that a gaggle of French females from the Les Bleus Women's World Cup team
posed in the buff for a magazine spread, one word should come to mind:
Bild.
And you would, of course, be correct. Three of the French ladies posed nude for the German
beacon of couth though without anything really showing in order to "bring awareness to their
sport".
