Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is determined not to allow the fear of injury change his style
next season.
The England midfielder has been out since March after an operation on a groin problem with which he

- Time to get off the bench
The league campaign continues with the visit of Liverpool. It'll be the first home game of the
domestic campaign and it is always important to start on the right foot. Arsenal were the best away
team in the league last season but ultimately even then we finished 12 points off the top.
Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from a heavy defeat to Tottenham when they take on
Championship high-flyers Brighton in the Carling Cup on Wednesday.
The Reds made a bright start to the season but their good early work has been undone to some extent
following back-to-back losses against Stoke and Spurs in the Premier League.
