Chelsea welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge looking to regain some of the lost glory which has seen
them win only two matches in their last six in the English Premier League. Last weekend's 1-1 draw
against Newcastle left them at the 2nd position in the league table, allowing Manchester United to
bypass them into the first position, two points clear of the Blues.
Another poor performance by Chelsea saw them drop two more points as they drew 1-1 with Everton
at Stamford Bridge. The result left Chelsea with just one win in their last six league games and
in team were booed of the park at the end of the game.
Chelsea struggled from the opening whistle and almost conceded a goal in the opening seconds
when Louis Saha's shot from 20-yards forced Petr Cech into a fine save at his near post.

Influential Chelsea captain John Terry has issued a rally cry to his Stamford Bridge teammates
after the club's disappointing recent results. The Blues have just one win in their last six
domestic fixtures, and their poor form has prompted some pundits to rule them out of this year's
title race. Terry, meanwhile, insists his teammates aren't ready to quit.
Fresh from their high of topping their Champions League group first time of asking, Tottenham
Hotspur welcome defending Premier League champions Chelsea to White Hart Lane. Chelsea are seeking
their 2nd win in 7 games and captain John Terry has publicly called on his teammates to either step
up or forget about their title defence.
Chelsea vs Manchester United
Premier League
Stamford Bridge, London
Sunday 19th December 2010
16:00 BST
Having more or less shared the Premier League title for the past six years (both clubs have won
it thrice), the top flight's 'big two' are set to meet in anger for the first time this season when
table-topping Manchester United travel 200 miles south to Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon to
square off against reigning champions Chelsea.
Very different opinions by Chelsea captain John Terry and manager Carlo Ancelotti on the
strength of Chelsea's squad and whether it is deep enough to win the title this year.
John Terry was widely quoted in today's newspapers as saying:
"We've missed some key players at key times and it is a case of keeping everyone fit now over
the Christmas period, where we have two games in three days.
