As Portsmouth's Kevin-Prince Boateng prepared to step up and take a penalty in Saturday's FA Cup final with the score at 0-0 Chelsea captain John Terry went over and had a quiet word in K-P's ear. I imagine Terry said "Good luck, old chap, I really hope you score you deserve it.

It's a shame that the sordid John Terry affair has detracted somewhat from Hull's terrific performance Phil Brown's side were great, especially pocket gypsy Stephen Hunt. Overall it's a great result for the title race, and especially for Arsenal and Man Utd fans.

Breaking more than a decade of silence, former U.S. soccer coach Steve Sampson said Tuesday he dropped John Harkes from the national team roster two months before the 1998 World Cup because the American captain was having an affair with the wife of teammate Eric Wynalda.

Harkes has long denied having an affair with Amy Wynalda.

Chelsea football club have confirmed left-back Ashley Cole will be sidelines for ‘approximately three months' after sustaining a fractured ankle in the recent league defeat against Everton.

He also faces a battle to be fit in time for Chelsea's final league fixture of the season against Wigan.

When Manchester City fans were getting giddy over the prospect of signing then England captain, John Terry, Noel Gallagher claimed he wanted his club to have nothing to do with the cockney cry baby.
